Taran Matharu:

Very good....really feel like he is confused....... good work! :D

Romain Digonnet:

Beautiful animation.
Subtle movement and enough facial emotion.

Praveen Varghese:

i loved the subtility..

James Wilson:

cool. im only guessing when i say this but this looks like the animation style from and enrty that only got to a heavy blocked stage. if not my bad for confussing you with someone else. nice face animation though

Brad Kinley:

He seems to be talking with himself at some points, and the camera at others. Felt a little inconsistant there, but otherwise really strong.

Carlos Fins:

Really nice subtle animation!

Justin Lashley:

Love it. It's very subtle, but you've got lots of emotion and thought displayed. Good work!

Lianna Scrimger:

very nice work indeed! I love the attention to detail and the timing is nearly flawless

Steve C:

Very nice subtle piece, the facial acting at the beginning really sells it well. Good work.

Sergey B.:

That is great :D

Dieter Wagner:

great subtle acting! very inspiring.

Jon:

Wow great timing! and everything is so well thought out. Great Job!

Rory:

not much movement, but very well animated. facial animation at 366-370 and 490-500 could use some refinement

Brad Regier:

Really nice acting. The bit before the audio starts is interesting, but he needs a more gradual & more extreme transition into the agonized complaint. It comes too abruptly.
But really nice shot!

German U.:

Really Great subtle animation !

Ryan Lowe:

Wow, thats pretty much all I have to say, can't wait to see who you are when the voting is over. Amazing piece! Timing, spacing, poses, expression, lip sync. Love your "PUUUHrfect" Beautiful.

Taber Dunipace:

Yes! Subtle and clear, that's the name of the game! I could have done with a bit more emotion in the face, but this is a really solid piece already.

Ismael Ontiveros:

maybe if you put more animation in the arms to make stronger the feelings you got it

Randall Thurman:

love the before audio setup and the expressions are sweet

BrunoDestefani:

Wow!! Great timing, great poses, great lipsync. One of the best entries this month! Contratulations!!

Marco Palmieri:

nice motion. not too clear on the gestures. but smooth none the less.

Avner Engel:

Good work on maintaining the energy level and the dynamics of the audio clip through your entire animation. Well done!

eejun:

I love the starting part of the animation. The acting is awesome.

Paul Robbins:

Sweet, I love the look at the pencil. It's like he looked at the pencil and that's what made him think to say the last line.

Louis Ng:

Very believable acting, I like the acting choices. Excellent!

Rushikesh Joshi:

at perfect world the attention should be on a music piece. rest is nice smooth work and very nice start indeed.

Gak Karoly:

I think it is the best animation in this competition. My problem is the direction. The situation is not quite clear in this case. Bec if the character recognized the changes in the music at the moment he would be react a little bit more supprised. He would be looking at the sheet longer bec he had to verify the changes. I feel rather he had that feeling the music had been changed and he is not too surprised...but in this case he had to react some thing like that "Oh I knew it..."

Kent Wong:

good acting. Strong poses. I like it.

Florent Perrin:

Very subtle, natural, alive, I like it!
One of the best notes I've left today I think....
By the way...
Is that a character you can find somewhere?

David Alvarez:

Terrific, awesome, fantastic animation piece. I can't find a thing to critique in this entry maybe the gear change would needs "something" to be perfect but it is really close

Anyway is my favorite entry this month

David Andrade:

But it's perfect as it is is a big accent on it, Play it up a bit more, open him up a bit. Then again you contrast at it the end very well with 469 - so it's up to you but I feel that line could be stronger.

Good beats all around, finese the hands a bit more. Make his eyes a bit more nervous, jittery even. I dont think you need all that stuff in the beginning.

Guilherme Trog:

Wow! Nice one! At last! hehe Just try to work a liiiiiiiitle bit more on the lip sync. But overall, Nice!

Erik Westlund:

Interesting choice, having the character trying to rewrite the performance. Nice, simple movements that read well and are appealing. Shift from trying to write to expressing frustration is too sudden. Need to emerge as he shows effort but is failing.

Yahya:

This is really good mate. i like!

Süleyman Gürgün:

Great Animation Man.

Maya K:

This is super! The staging totally supports your line. The eyes lead all the thought, from trying to read the music to looking at the pencil before, "I can't rewrite what's perfect." It feels organic and the poses are strong. This is really nice.

Richard Bannister:

Very nice!

prashant rawal:

nice work with the eyes

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

Really nice acting and subtle things going on here.

Maybe he should look at his pen when he says "rewrite" , here it is a bit toon soon I think.
And to be very picky, when his hands are still, they are a bit too still ;)

Very nice animation... Good luck !

André Moreira Forni:

Awesome, nice subtle acting, I like a lot the fact you add some thinking on the acting.

Daniel Harris:

Very very nice, love your subtlty and the acting is very believable. I'm not sure of your beginning setup though, where he seems to busily concentrating on his work and then begins his rant without any noticable instigation. Perhaps if he was *trying* to concentrate on his work but something is on his mind and he couldn't focus. The tension builds up and breaks and ignites his rant. The second half isn't as interesting as the first half, which seems a little strange because it seems like there's more energy in the dialogue in the second half.

Very beautiful piece of animation, I hope my crit is helpful :-)

Thomas Grummt:

wow. i love it. although a simple playblast he seems to live and think!! simple and clear poses / gestures. the face is really really good in my opinion. everything works with the soundtrack.

can't say much more, great bit of animation!

Rob Wilson:

wow. this is one of the nicer ones i have seen out of the 100 or so ive gone through. its not over the top, its very fitting to the dialogue and it seems really genuine.

one thing, maybe have a beat before he starts talking. he goes in and he is making notes but he pulls back and starts talking right away. if he had a short period to think about what he was going to say before he did i think it would make this stronger.

nice work though!

Henk Kok:

Solid use of animation principles. Enjoyed the staging and subtle acting. Pose at the end with the lower eyelids raised feels a bit forced. I`d say this one is my favorite.

Marcus Tee:

Love the first 150 frames, especially his expressions and the pencil in the mouth.

Overall well done.
