Taran Matharu:

nicely done... :D

Sylvain Bernard:

really nice work, like the sheets move idea, not to sure if he would had time to take a puff of smoke seems to rushed, not fitting with sound. would make it shorter so it leaves him time to take a breath of fresh air to speak without smoke coming out of the mouth.

Jr Prez:

that's really good

James Wilson:

love the smoke exhale while he talks.

Paulo Cesar Biajante:

good...

eejun:

I love the papaer shoveling action. Nice animation and timing for the smoking as well. All blended nicely.

BrunoDestefani:

Excelent animation! Timing, poses, the puffing of the smoke! Awesome. The lipsync is a bit off though. And the arm pose in "I can't..." is a little strange.

Steve C:

Really nice. The drag on the cigarette during the pause suited the scene quite well. The movement is quite nice as well!

Sergey B.:

nice animation

Ethan Reitz:

clear strong poses motivated action

Brad Bradbury:

nice work. love the secondary action of smoking.

Hector Lopez:

Very good!

Ryan Lowe:

The smoke prop is a new spin I haven't seen yet. Love the face. It really seems to be "searching" for the lines. Frames 225-50 could be a stronger pose for his though process i think.

wingscg@gmail.com:

I realy like this.

I think that performace is so good. I really can see that character felt. So i didn’t like the squash in the head character when he goes to back. Looks a little exaggerated when we see all scene.

So I have to give a good grade for it. ehehe

Brad Regier:

REally nice!
The ending needs more punch and energy somehow. It's a bit anticlimactic.

Jim Bradrick:

Very imaginative posing and business with the cigarette, pushing away the sheet music.

Taber Dunipace:

Great action for the pause there! I almost didn't believe he was about to speak the next line.

Lianna Scrimger:

wow I love the cigarette :) very cool

Alec Sinanoski:

love the effects! the lipsync is very good too, this is pro XD

Marco Palmieri:

great movements! could win it.

Andrew Innes:

fits audio very well.

Louis Ng:

The 'smoking on the cigarette' part of your animation doesn't seem to help lead into the next part of ur animation, which is the realisation that his script is perfect. . . Something to do with the eyes and eyebrows not helping to show more of the thinking process. I love the generally believable acting very much.

danni abram:

Enjoyed it, a nice touch with the cigarette too!

Patrick Chin:

very nice! Could do with a bit more contrast in the emotion. But the animation is very nice...

rushang:

good work simply the best

Traci Plagmann:

Overall this is a really nice shot. I like the acting choices. The only suggestion I have is that the lipsync feels a couple of frames late throughout.

Chris Boyoko:

Really nice interpretation of the voice.

Mathias Takacs:

nice work!!!!!!!!

Virgil Tanasa:

pretty nice, but you lose the key moment where you could have shown the transition in his emotional state (at "it's perfect...")

Barnabas Boehler:

Wow, I really, really like this one. I really like the secondary action with his props. The only little thing that bothers me is his head seams a little squishy in areas.

Otherwise, it's one of the best I've seen so far...Great Job!

kimleow:

wow i really like how he smoke/puff out idea! just the messing up paper part is quite fake. maybe could happen earlier . good!!!

Jean-Luc Delhougne:

This one is really cool. Congrats.
Maybe the squash on his head a bit too much for the rest is not very cartoony...

Ismael Ontiveros:

the ooonley little thing that its make better this, its that if you make strong the "put away movement", i mean if you put more away jejeje!! but its supercool

Gill Frank:

nice smoke effect. :)

Tom Law:

Wow, the really subtle squash and stretch you put in his head is really impressive. It flows really nicely

Kent Wong:

smooth animation. Great effort. But the emotion (facial) acting can be better and more expressive. Nice work!

Daniel Harris:

This is great! I love the use of the cigarette and smoke as a prop, the gestures in the first half a really cool!

It would be cool to see the eyes close during those bigger head movements though. I would have liked to see more variety in your transitions too, if you had some softer smoother gestures, it would help accentuate your more snappier stronger accents.

Hope this helps, very nice work!

Erik Westlund:

Nicely staged with excellent interaction with props. Emotion shows itself throughout movement as many elements reflect state of mind in concert. Performance reflects intensity of audio well. Eyes appear to be stuck in a wide open pose for a lot of the performance.

Thomas Grummt:

very nice piece! great shoulder motion :) very clear and not overacted. nice contrast in timing and poses. good level of secondary action and subtlety (smoking is great - animationwise :)
what i really don't like is the squash and stretch in the head (esp. around #148), i think you have to be veeery careful with that in 3d... easily starts looking like an air balloon.
