Sue Houston:
I like the subtle acting you have going on.
Corey McDaniel:
very nice acting
Matt Hirengen:
great acting! great job.
Amdbcg:
flying baby!
colus havenga:
i like this :)
Curtis:
Nice subtle acting, The eye brows for the most part seem stuck, and are symmetrical for most of the piece, a wider range of emotions would help quite a bit. The little eye darts at the begnning should finish off with a emotion change. It looks like he's thinking about something, realizes it, but has absoloutly no reaction to it.
Arda Uysal:
Hahaa! I loved the final eyedarts. Right wrist angle might have improved. Great work!
Joey Gates:
I really like your acting choices.
Shon Stewart:
The thinking part at the beginning is so awesome! You did a nice job of keeping the fathers acting very serious and in the moment while the boy's gift is so hilarious.
V_I_C_K_Y:
Hehe, Nice Kid..!
Pete Shand:
LOL great work, love the floating kid and the acting is nice and subtle
Daniel Erwin:
nice! nice acting! nice animation!... except for the kid floating up in the air... i think there could be a lot more animation done there. i like the intro but don't think its necessary... i like how he delivers "to talk about." at the end... its nice stuff
Florent Perrin:
very sensitive and natural acting. The kid would perhaps have been more intersting if he had been more active in what he does.
Loved your stuff...
Barnabas Boehler:
Nice Job Here.
Looks a bit floaty though...Oh wait.. That's the kids Gift.!
Just kidding...it's a actually one of the best I've seen so far, I love the thinking at the beginning and all the subtle head movements
Is he even aware his kid can float around
Hector Lopez:
Good idea, but way longer than 11 seconds.
Paulo Cesar Biajante:
good!
Candace Giancanelli:
you didn't need the extra time, and you didn't need the floating baby. the person sitting down had a good performance and the baby was more of a distraction. Good job!!
Noah:
Nice piece, good acting choices and great level of polish. The only issue I really have is that his face feels a little stiff. Your mouth shapes could be clearer throughout, there are some sync issues such as your wide open shape on "acknowledge" is very early, and the brows/lids barely ever change shape. There's so much material in the audio for big, visible changes in eye shape that you're not taking advantage of, such as the confrontational, sarcastic stressing of "acknowledge", or the big shift in tone between "my son has a gift" and "HE has a GIFT".
Martin Silfvast:
very nice!
Ed. Hull:
I really like your subtle gestures throughout this shot. However, I don't feel that the gestures in the first 100 frames do anything for the story. Otherwise, I think your acting and execution are awesome. Good job!!
Andy Hass:
Nicely done, entertaining idea.
Michel Dani:
Very nice work with the face!!! It's the body that needed a bit more work regarding readability.
E. Cooman:
GREAT!! Acting, LS, compliments!
Andre de Villiers:
Great acting! Solid animation, good job! Lipsync needs some tweaking here and there, but you've still got my vote!
Omri Navot:
that is freakin' hysterical!!! love the concept!
Brad Bradbury:
The baby's actions look floaty.
wait-- nevermind. just kidding.
This is really great.
Alex Fundora:
This has awesome written all over it. The only thing I can throw in is that I feel he is leaning to the right too much through the entire piece, and perhaps have a spot that would oppose that briefly ^_^
Carlos Fins:
first half was good..you lost me with the floating kid.
Cameron Huber:
hahaha wicked interpretation of the dialogue!
I like a lot of your movements, though they may be a little reserved and not exaggerated, they still work pretty well the whole way through. The only things that really stood out for me were the slightly floating/shifting right elbow in the beginning, and the hand pose at F 280 - which feels way too stiff.
I know you were probably restricted with time, but I would suggest putting a lot more into the son floating into the air. At the moment his whole body simple translates up with really gradual movement from his limbs. Play this up more, maybe have him glide up, kick his legs and then float higher, or something like that. It would be like the cherry to an awesome cake....
Great work man!
SamoRa G:
LOL I love it =D
kEViN:
well done!!
Raasi N:
..is father like a super hero (coz the eye mask is on table)...
Frank G:
Excellent starting thinking pose. I liked this one a lot. The gag didn't over power the acting.
