the acting choices is good
Ian Jacobson:
Loosen up the right hand.
Forrest:
haha, funny, nicely done. his pose feels a bit awkward mostly bent the entire time. and some of the motions are a bit on the nose but not too bad.
Amdbcg:
lol, this is great!
Corey McDaniel:
very good poses & acting
Matt Hirengen:
Nice job!
manlio vetri:
good job!
it would have been fun to see some action on the secondary character too.
cheers
Alex Crouch:
Really funny!
Curtis:
hahah very funny nice work. good timing. I think the kid is a little dead. just some alight movement, little eye darts, maybe a little expression change would pull it all together.
Renato S. Sena:
Great job!!
Troy:
Nice Work!
Daniel Erwin:
FUN STUFF!! i like the idea and the acting choices that compliment the story... how he's acting like the proud father/coach.... i would do a different concept for the punching idea on frame 163... i'de imagine a quick uppercut/jab with his right... it would break up all the movement he's doing on his left side and give a new sense of snappy timing to break up the timing, it could give it a little more texture... im not quite sold on the lip-sync.
Srujith kumar Ogirala:
good
Florent Perrin:
Loved the little moment around frame 98... Very "alive" :)
chrisbyk:
Really nice, but I think that the pose at 165 is a little too much.
Mark Homoky:
Initial impressions - overall a great piece of animation. The father is very expressive but the boy is somewhat (perhaps intentionally) motionless. However, the boy is in a great pose that clearly states the reason for this.
More specifically I love the father's body language and movement of arms and facial structures is very good. Nice touches with the blinking and the left hook (is he left handed by any chance?) and of course the movement of the torso is very convincing as you've considered the shifting weight quite well (although I'd have expected the feet to move a little - and hence the legs). Very nice touch with the fingers of the right hand around F183 - 'acknowledge that' whilst making an 'OK' type signal to himself.
Finally, the few frames after the audio finishes are beautifully done too - the concerned expression on the father's face as he gently taps his son is great.
Well done - good luck!
luv2animate:
Coach/Dad..Nice animation!!But I believe U shud hav used the eye xpression more in the start as u have done that at the end..
Matthew Murray:
nice, probably didn't need that second look away though
Barnabas Boehler:
The lip synch feels a bit late when he says "than I have ever been at anything"
Also, think you should delay the hand gesture for "maybe" by a few frames
Ronny:
nice dude, never see that one coming great concept, character animation is good
rajeshk:
Nice staging acting timing performance. GREAT.. AM Guys are great..
Luv u guys
Erik Griott:
it was looking okay, but then you're character indicated what he was talking about. indicating a meaning through physical action is a bad thing. i'm refering to when he says "he has a gift" and at the same time makes a punching motion.
Martin Silfvast:
good effort
Ramesh:
Nice work. I think some of followthrough action missing. Great
Cameron Huber:
haha nice interpretation of the audio clip - I dig it!
I think the right hand in the beginning could have had more movement considering the fist move on the left hand. I would also lose the "punching the air" pose, it just feels a little cliche considering you've already set up the boxing ring scenario.
Nice work man, this is pretty close!
Raasi N:
Really Really nicely done.I understand that son is shown as almost near death..still if you could at least make him slightly breath ...will make him look like prop in the beginning part of the animation....
Jurriaan Hos:
I really like the originality of the boxing move. Well done!!! Good timing and everything. Only question mark is why this guy bends so much through his knees near 280
Ryan Chan:
Great job! The beat up character looks a little too dead though. I think you could add a little animation to keep him alive, like his arm swinging or a slow breathing. Just something, so he doesn't look completely frozen.
KristiC:
with the eyes open like that, he looks dead, not knocked out.
Magnus Yu:
Great work! I love the way he touches the face of his son at the end of the clip. Love the punching acting choices as well.
Brad Bradbury:
awesome. the boxer should move slightly to show he's still alive some.
G. Smith:
Awesome work in both animation and telling the story..keep it up
Brad Regier:
nice acting.
The "OK" finger gesture once is interesting, but maybe not twice...
Good stuff!!
Frank G:
Nicely staged. The gestures were unique because of the story behind the sequence. I found this one appealing and well acted. I was hoping for an impact pose where the line of action of the spine was reversed. But keeping it hunched forward gave the impression the character was boxing. Lots of stars for this one.
Ashwani:
nice
barak drori:
nice!!
James Fearn-Wannan:
Nice one
