Camera shots are a bit distracting. IT dosn't look like "We have to" Guy is holding the scissors. And I'm not sure what he's looking at...ever Expressions aren't bad. OTher Guy is pretty good
Adriel Restrepo:
Nice work with the acting and the way he pushes the other guy in the begining. I did not really catch the part with the scissor at first. That part I think can be a little clearer. I also think maybe you should push the poses and expressions a little more to be more clearer and have better staging.
Keep up the good work!
Taber Dunipace:
Both characters' gestures are hard to read and I don't really get an idea of what each person is thinking and how they're interacting. Also Alfred's "cancer hand" is distracting. Why is it doing that? Overall you need to show more specificity of the character's goal in the scene, and be clear who they're talking to and why.
Jett Atwood:
The lipsync is really hard to read and the poses feel generic and overdone. Fewer poses would probably work or at least let him settle into one.
P Walters:
Nice camera work. The guy in the grey shirt just feels like he waves his hands around. It doesn't feel very natural. I don't really understand the guy with the scissors and what he does when he snips them.
Virgil Mihailescu:
hahaha, I don't think you were supposed to write your name on the video :D
about the animation, I didn't understand the idea, so I can't talk about the acting. The lipsync has some problems, mainly in the Ooo vs Eee I think. I liked some of the gestures and expressions.
Theo Edmands:
Your acting choices are pretty good. The staging could use some improvement especially in the last shot (which needs to be centered) as well as the first shot (which needs about a second more at the beginning).
Missy Feaster:
Moves okay, but too many reused hand gestures....consider lots of possibilities before going with the open hand.
Chad Hannah:
No need for all the different camera shots, the clip is only 10 seconds.
Christopher Lutz:
Quite OK. Maybe the left guy should do less actin g with his hands.
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
The main character lacks some strength in its poses in my opinion.
Aaron Clement:
I didn't get the ending on this. Your missing some words out on the lip sync... Staging seems good.
gerardo:
good camera job
Robert-Jon Eckhardt:
The movements are quite natural, but i think the camera switches too fast. Also the left guy gets scared at the exact moment the right guy opens the scissors. In reality he would hear the sound, interpret it, and then be scared. It could never happen at the same time.
Bilal Ahmad:
i think, last posture on the pink guy, does'nt convey the exact scenario for the animation
Brad Bradbury:
nice scissors, glad someone got to use them...
Gregory Marlow:
Good Job!
Victor Wong:
There's a bit of a problem with distance established in the 2nd and 3rd scenes; they don't quite jibe. Gesture sync is a little off in the final third, but there's good subtle acting in the first half.
Chris Smith:
Not bad - could not see the guy on the right talking at first, though. His face is away from the camera.
vic:
need good poses and acying
Roshan.k:
those cuts are distracting to eyes..but i like the acting ..
David Shum:
I didn't get the gag
there's alot of pretty nice acting choices for the guy in purple,
only thing is he keeps looking offscreen, to the right, and pulling the viewer's eyes off the screen. Which is a bad thing.
And last thing, at the begining of the shot, purple guy is waling screen LEFT, and the he walks screen RIGHT after the cut. It might be disorienting for viewers watching it the first time.
But overall, i like the acting in this shot. Feels natural, and ... 'correct'. Only worry is the composition for me.
Keep up the good work :P
Olivier Ladeuix:
nice work. Not sure about the acting. Why would he change mind when the other character only open his scissors. He is threatening him? Make it clearer.
Christiaan Moleman:
Too many camera cuts. The first one is good, but the second one feels weird. Maybe if you did it at a different time it would work better, or maybe you should stick to two shots.
Most of the acting works pretty well, but I don't know about the "all done" gesture and around 134 you're breaking the fourth wall looking into the camera.
Mike Courtney:
The characters don't seem to be interacting with each other beyond walking by each other. The lip-sync is good.
Max Herzfeld:
Very smooth, and the camera angles were well done, though a bit distracting.
Some of the looks seemed unfocused. It was hard to tell wheather they were looking at something or moving with their thoughts.
