I think the staging of the character behind the couch isn't immediately noticeable (doesn't help that his silhouette is wide much like the couch), you can see she's talking to someone. While your focus is on her, it's very much not on him. Even when it's his turn to speak he doesn't raise above the couch so we can see his face, which could make a big difference to me.

The girl is pretty well done, the lipsync is off at times though like when she says "Planet". Tonally it looks good, but the timing seems very off.
