Dead facial expressions in both. Keep working
I liked timing of main poses but if father character had eye blinks (at least him) , expressions could be more meaningfull .eye parts improvable part of your animation.
The idea and the poses were good, but the characters' whole bodies should always be moving at least a little since they're alive and breathing. :)
FACES! even if it's just tiny motions, blinks, etc. get them in there. general posing and physicality works well, watch your overlaps!
body is dead maximum time
I like your poses, mabe think about the moving holds when your characters don't move, it wil bring a lot of life to your shot ! And maybe play a bit more with the expression, but that's a great shot keep going :)
