Freeze/bake/apply the clothsim on the tablecloths once you have them a shape you like, so they don't go oozing all around during the animation. You need to move the....mouse? or whatever it is, around a lot more with grander gestures for its animation to show up next to a big character moving that much.

Be careful with staging your scene - at first I couldn't tell who was talking, because the little dog is so tiny and it's hard to pick him out from the background scenery. You could maybe exaggerate the little dog's movements more to help with this, like, have him bouncing a bit or something.
