Justin Weg:
I love the smearing you did with Brussells.
Christiaan Moleman:
Nice and snappy. Good poses and gestures. I like the secondary action with the glass at the start.
Only crit is that literally acting out "farty and bloated" might be a bit much, but still very nice.
Kyle Mohr:
I like the characters you you created for this, and the situation. Your poses are strong, expressions are good. I it's a little too consistently snappy though. He snaps snaps snaps to every pose, every time. There can (and should be) just as much meaning in the movement itself as the poses, try getting that into your animation.
Aaron Clement:
I like the character designs. The hight different in the staging is good, too. Felt a little cliche some of the movements.
Taber Dunipace:
Very nice animation quality and a great premise too. There's a little too much action going on for me to follow fluidly and the staging is a little awkward as well. A bit rough still in terms of acting but still very nice.
Erik Griott:
interesting movements, and fun too, but when jacobim is explaining his problem he doesnt have to show us as well. my acting teacher taught us that telling the audience what you are doing is a bad bad thing. just convince them that you mean what you say. if you have to force that upon us then its not working.
Robert Tighe:
This is funny. I wish the camera was closer to the characters. Even cuts would have been better. Nice take right before "Todd".
Ron Price:
Looking good. I'm not a big fan of the "farty" gesture--who would do that, really?--plus, it's stepping on the funny expression on "bloated."
There's a lot going on here, but you've kept it all pretty readable. The only thing I sometimes lose if Todd's facial expressions and lipsync right after he salutes.
Carlos Fins:
Wow that pose on 108 is AWESOME. Great stretch.. awesome poses. I say this one wins it just from that reaction of him tossing the test tube over. I'd love to see how you came about pulling off that cartoony surprise take. Maybe post some notes on your work progression in the forums? That would be great!
Mauro Alemanno:
good poses...but you don't love spline curves, really? it's similar to flash animation...
the idea is good
Steve Sloan:
I liked it, i found the the poses were held a little too much though, it seemed like they froze.
Fernando Herrera:
I think just needs some moving holds. But it's awesome
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
The characters are hold dead too many times. Work on the moving holds. I like the first part with the "plutonium" thing.
vinay:
gr8 contrast. awesome
Dhar:
Yeah, that was super good. Great story line, and the content of the story made for a believable animation. Loved the exaggerated stretch on Todd.
Oren Bentov:
Great animation here :), I liked the jump from pose to pose very cartony and it works great.
the only problem is that too much stuff going on in the same time.the green guy takes too much attention when the caption speaks.
Simon Ridge:
I think maybe there's one pose too many on the part where he talks about getting farty and bloated. Really nice ins and outs of poses, the acting on the servant comes across really natural, fits the audio superbly :)
Bilal Ahmad:
very nice effort man!
yeshwanth:
There are lots of very good poses and nice timming ..some time i feel there is lots of hold in certain poses which makes the character unnatural or non realistic...no character freezes in certain point during any time... cheers i might be wrong ...i love the poses
Victor Wong:
I like the over-the-top gesturing of the first character. The second one needs to be more expressive, and I don't get the feeling that the two are really connecting. Try to aim the eyes of both characters to connect with each other.
mark whitcombe:
nice, i like it
Roger Feron:
Great poses and timing! My only comment would be that his torso gets thinner when he says "bloated" - puffing his stomach out would make more sense.
Matt Lefferts:
JEEEEEZ I love those poses!! LOL superb work
Tyler Phillips:
Nice exaggerated animation. Really funny.
Israel Woolfolk:
This was just great!!
Chris Boyoko:
Wow . Really good animation. I like the way you used the squash et stretch principle on your characters, especially at 108
James Rodgers:
My only crit would be the zomie eyes you have going on. around the start at frame 2 and the 157, 162 (off character), 184, 197.
I love the beats and the use of SS. nice.
Noah Arntson:
Great snappiness. It's good how he actually sipped it and reacted. Cool hover and squash and stretch as he fumbles the test tube at fr. 86
Brendan Fagan:
Some great moment in there. I thought there was to much and it was a bit hard to read. Great animation techniques but just to much information.
Bob Hinson:
Love the set up here... adds a bit of story.
Jacob Patrick:
can see the stretching rather than feel it.
Really going for it, that's gooood - very animated, nice
you're going to be super good..... don't get a big head, I said going to....
Ipseidio Glitterati:
Nice try...like the star trek like motif
frame 162 seems out of place...or it snaps into the next 164 too quickly.
I think that maybe you need a hold on frame 100 to let it register... you need something there... wish my eye was better developed to help you there. overall it looks good...but yet maybe a little too snappy
selvaraj:
great work...
Daniel Steola:
funny!!!
Viktoras:
looks rather decent, but... maybe overacted a bit? ofc, #1 voice is quite hysterical, but maybe not THAT much?:] anyway, good job.
Dan Neuffer:
nice chuck jones style jump! you even had the stretch in there
Fawzi Yahya:
sooo good
boris:
Great poses, great timing. Although I am not sure if you should literally illustrate everything that the left guys us saying. Keep up the good work!
Steve Lo:
when left guy settles into his pose at around frame 200 it seems borderline poppy. Not sure if that's what you were going..but maybe try to add a frame or two more to that part would make it seem better. Other than that I love the snappy animation!
G. Norman Lippert:
Simply fantastic. The spot-on posing and timing of this is a thing of beauty. The subtle humor of Tod with the beaker is refreshing without dominating the script. Excellent.
Jesse Baumgartner:
Cool poses and timing. Lip sync could use some work, though.
Thomas Tadeusz Ciborowski:
abit snappy IMO
Andre de Villiers:
Great! Good sense of timing and acting! Be weary of snapping knees.
jacko yeoh:
nicely done
Jacopo Armani:
Great poses!!
My only issue is with the staging: they are so far apart that is difficult to follow the back and forth in the acting.
Kyle Rockman:
Nice job!! I love all the little subtle things you've got going and your style...the 2D strech and squash is AWESOME!!!!
Keep up the awesome work!!!
Marcelle Marais:
i really enjoyed it. the animation on the green charcter is cool but its distracting and i find it totaly takes the focus off the character thats speaking but the animations pretty cool
Amy:
Very fun, exaggerated facial expressions. I enjoy the fact that Todd lost something over the edge and even looks back at it. Creative use of the noise he makes in the provided audio. Also, I LOVE that Todd actually stays suspended in the air for a brief moment in classic animated astonishment when his... red object... flies out of his hands.
Careful with Todd's lip-syncing, though. It's not quite convincing enough. His master (I can never quite figure out the name) is animated quite well. The little details (like him stirring the cup daintily in his hand) really make this animation work.
vanigoel:
I like the sense of exaggeration in the waiter. But there is a lack of secondary actions and follow trough.
There are very few offsets. everything moves at the same time.
Geordie Martinez:
Odd to have so much distance between actors. Green guy pose not scared enough. Orange guy good.
lipschmultz:
i like it, the animation was quite nice, but i really liked the somewhat old school background!
Calvin Culy:
Very well done. Love the extra thing at the beginning. Animation feels very pixar and living. All in all very good.
Kody:
very very good. i like how the animation explained the dialogue in "farty and bloaty"
Mads Johansen:
Very zippy, but very nice.
