Mark Bogdanoff:
Nice, original concept.
Justin Weg:
Cool characters!
Christiaan Moleman:
Some nice stuff, but the expression change at the very end while everything else remains totally frozen doesn't work. Nothing moves without influencing the rest.
Also watch out for IK-hands on the doll around 120.
Aaron Clement:
I like these characters... you've really pushing the movements/action on these guys... feels good... I'm a little mistified by the ending.
Taber Dunipace:
I like the acting choices and character behind this one a lot. There are a couple weird bits such as the distracting things on the head's mouth and the camera peak at the end, but this is a very nice piece over all.
Watch your arcs, the first head move is completely linear.
Erik Griott:
i think the end kind of kills it. also, someone mentioned to you that the puppets hands IK controls were sticking at one part and it didnt look like you fixed it.
Robert Tighe:
ohhh creepy. Nice timing. Does the scr left character have no arms?
Ron Price:
Really neat facial acting! The strings are a little distracting at first, but that's the price you pay for getting to use your cool models, I guess...
Carlos Fins:
This is looking good. There's a lot of cool stuff happening in the facial expressions.. the last facial change feels floaty and not connected to the rest of the performance though. Lip synching feels motormouthy. Looks good, though. Outside of the animations I like the models and the texturing you did on him. Cool!
Gregory Marlow:
Very good.
Mauro Alemanno:
pose and timing ar correct, the idea is good, but learn to control curve of animation...is toooo stepped
Florent Perrin:
cool characters and staging. Animation looks a little floaty. Youd'have won efficiency by making it more nervous.
Fernando Herrera:
This is really good!
Just think it doesn't need looking to the camera at the end.
And the lip sync in "indeed" is looking like "ah" instead of "e".
Except that it's coolness
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
Hey, nice characters. The animation is nice although you could have pushed some moves for a better acting. The lip sync is too flappy, don't try to nail every syllable, work in conjuntion with the rest. Good job nontheless.
Dhar:
Great original concept. Jacob's mouth looked like it was chattering, which is a bit distracting. Great job overall.
Mike Courtney:
Lip-sync is off.
Bilal Ahmad:
nice effort man!
Victor Wong:
Excellent facial expressions and lip sync.
mark whitcombe:
wow, scary + stylish, cool.
Ezra Allen:
The eye brows on the disembodied head are popping up and down a bit too much. nice reaction from the sack man
Tom Cho:
Excellent work however the mouth shapes and facial expressions in general on Jacobim seem to be the weakest part of this animation.
Josh Doohen:
love the characters and quick toony actions-movements of the animation. good job!
Roger Feron:
Jacombims lip sync felt choppy, more variation with the 'wide/narrow' shapes would make it more natural. Tods hand movements stop suddenly most times he moves, unlike his body which had all that squash and stretch on it, making his hands and body feel a bit disconnected - more 'ease in/out' on the hands would help there. Nice gesturing with the head and face.
Matt Lefferts:
the animation looks solid but I was thrown off by the characters, specifically the dangley bits from the boy's mouth
V_I_C_K_Y:
Hey Dude, Nice Stuff...
But it would be GR*8 if U have used the bocy Arc, revalsals...
Right now only 1 Arc I can see..!
Tyler Phillips:
Wow, totally disgusting but nice animation. After the huge plant head says latte he his head kinda floats before his next poses.
david richardson:
that was awesome. the faces just said it all. no crits here.
Noah Arntson:
Really great timing and spacing overall! Creepy too I like it.
Drew:
i thought this was fantastic, second best out of them all. Models are great and acting good.
doc:
nice eyes and face movements , as well as character design, lighting and texture.
the main character eyes, one pupil large the other small looks crazy enough.
Brendan Fagan:
That was a Great effort. Love the setup and models. Very well done and Original
Pedro Lopes:
i like the characters
Alex.N:
Nice facial animation. I also like the different use of characters.
praveen:
i like the movement of eyes
Eric:
Nice attempt. Overall good, however some of the portions of the character felt a bit floaty.
Jacob Patrick:
mouth is very poppy
same with eye brows
Ipseidio Glitterati:
I like the framing of the shot. and that the assistant is smaller and too the front. the acting of both character is nice, but I esp think the little guy looks the best(quite scared). The main thing that needs work is the lip sync and quick movement of the big guy. it looses something about frame115...like it's jarring to the eye
Dan Keller:
Awesome work. A few things:
F121-F138 the voodoo doll's hands sort of lock into place. Keep those moving, perhaps a bit of flexing after gettin' yelled at.
F262: perhaps start that squinching of the eyes a bit sooner before he shoots forward yelling at the voodoo doll.
the look to cam at the end is a nice touch, perhaps if the main puppet head had a bit of rotation during the glance, that might give it a bit more personality. Hope this helps...great work!
ceyhan:
nice idea,
nice characters,
nice mimics,
exellent work
selvaraj:
very good animation.
Emmanuel:
I love the expression on Jacobim!
Viktoras:
oh noes, the "look-at-camera-at-the-end" thing:]
nice piece, doll still needs more polish, a bit floaty.
Dan Neuffer:
cool characters
Massimo Russo:
I really like the lipsync you have done here! And also the facial acting is great. I also really like the first reaction of the puppet and when he touches double with his hands! Great job!
wingscg@gmail.com:
good animation, but I think that this animation havent conection whit audio. But it have a good acting and timming.
Thomas Tadeusz Ciborowski:
Just leave his eyes on the teddy bear .. I see no reason to look into the camera ... its like out of character and reminds me im just watching an animation ...
Andrew Linke:
Great characters and animation, although don't understand what's coming out of his mouth. Also not sure about the look back at the audience but the rest was great.
Andre de Villiers:
Wow, looks great! Todd's arms are floating a bit and his hands seem to stick in mid-air around "...farty..." Not crazy about the look-into-the-camera-end.
Jacobim's facial animation could be a bit smoother. Overall, one of the best I've seen!
jacko yeoh:
awesome! like the style of animation, abit puppetish yet animated. the nice modeling and rendering helps
Jacopo Armani:
Nice poses and snappy timing. I like it a lot. Only flawt to me: eye direction wasn't clear on the Jac (see. about fr 125). Solid.
Kyle Rockman:
The mouth is a huge chatterbox....try looking for some tuts on animation phonems in dialouge. You don't need to hit every letter. Work on toning down the mouth and this would be a great peice of animation!!
Keep up the hard work.
Amy:
The lighting here is very beautiful. These characters rock, I take it they're your originals? Never seen them before. Very nice animation with the large-headed one. I can see his face calculating what he's heard, and he doesn't get ahead of himself or the dialogue. Great lip-syncing. You really think about the little details and even animated Todd to breathe. And is the ending the two of them acknowledging the audience?
This is just a great, clean piece overall.
vanigoel:
Everything is ok. But I feel the last expression givin by the master wasnt required. It could stay where it was in anger.
Jance:
A little pose to posey, would be nice to see more flow from pose to pose. The mouth animation seems very poppy, try removing some syllables, and blending from word to word.
Kody:
the facial animation for the head is quite good...however the lack of arms and such really take away from the animation
Jay:
quite good!
David Mourato:
Amazing animation...
Mads Johansen:
Weird models, but very nice animation.
Pete Shand:
Hahaha great animation, interesting characters too, head on a stick :P

Animator: G. Norman Lippert
Description: This was done with a couple of our original voodoo characters - a shrunken head on a stick and the ubiquitous voodoo doll. I like that the guy with no body gets "farty and bloated". HAH!
Experience: about 7 years
Time taken: about 5 hours.
