Animator: Philip To

Description: Still quite rough around the edges, i started quite late. Wanted to do more with the secondary guy but didn't get a chance. Probably a bit extreme for the dialog but it was fun to do :)
Crit away!

Aaron Clement:

I could be wrong, but is this Phil To's clip? Some nice smooth motion and well acted out. I'm not sure about the green guy on the couch... but everything else is great! Good job, man!

Robert Tighe:

Awesome.

W Jacob Gardner:

i feel that the "girl that he loves" gesture is way too broad and snappy for the line

Gregory Marlow:

NICE

Shannon Daniell-Segilola:

This is great, I love it. Awesome work.

Ryan Hagen:

Nice work. I really like the walk into it. I liked the gesture into "this girl that he loves". It's a solid piece and I think it should win. Keep rockin'.

ArunVijayan:

hey...great work!!!!!

Ozgur Yildirim:

Amazing!

Emmanuel Vergne:

nice rythm, nice poses
nice facial shapes and good lipsync

Praveen Varghese:

good energy management! overall it looks very good!!

Dhar:

Great work. Nice variety of walk, sit, dramatic pose. Good variety of timing. All the elements of a good animation are there. Well done.

Dan Dulberger:

I miss some anticipation befor the hand/foot flick at "I thought.." and the drop to sit "..could help him in ...". They just happen. Suddenly. Without prior motivation. You do the motivation and effect at the same time sortof. Animation was very nice and smooth though.

Alonso Soriano:

watch the angles, I thought he sat down on the couch 1st time through, when he squats, because he's right at that angle, when he does sit I'd suggest a slightly bigger down up down. 1st squat the legs are weird. Love that initial walk, great character in it

Mike Courtney:

the animation needs more overlapping action on sitting down

Gregory Naud:

Great acting!

Eric Huang:

Awesome! Lots of character :). Love the facial expressions!

Josh Doohen:

very good job in capturing emotion. green guy is a great touch! good poses. one thing..foot slips a little strangely when sitting on the couch for the first time.

Roger Feron:

Awesome. The pose on "girl that he loves" might be too big though.

Tyler Phillips:

I love the pause in his walking and when he sits. I'm not sure about the acting for "this girl that he loves", though it's really well animated. Everything else is fantastic, both the animation and acting choices.

Francisco Martinez:

I like the emotion throughout but the body moves a little too much for the line
"this girl that he loves.."

Gustavo Calle:

I love it. Great performance. Very good acting.

Nanda van Dijk:

You're animation is just amazing!!!

outstanding job!

Jesse Baumgartner:

Really nice stuff. The poses and timing are great.

Andre de Villiers:

Awsome!

Lauren Andersson:

nice

Nate Dorn:

great job .. the "girl that he loves " part seems maybe a tad to late. like the ending

Matt Kenley:

wow.

Bob Dole:

when he says "help him in some way," the character seems a little off balance, though it could just be a trick of the lighting.

John Erickson:

Awesome piece!

Brad Regier:

Really good stuff! I like the walk.
Maybe anticipate his hips more as they fall toward the couch the first time (around 70). "Girl that he loves" seems a bit too exagerated.

David Artura:

Su-Perb! Really nice expressions and weight to the character.

Super great work!

Peter Segers:

I like this a lot, great job :)
The movement on 'help him' is a bit too fast for me.
Well done!

Meaghan Arbital:

Wow, I love the movements! Very realistic but still interesting.

Michael Cawood:

Amazing work. There’s a few point where the arms don’t quite sit still when they make contact with something, and his left elbow pops a little at 200… but otherwise really good work.

Adam Knight:

This is my favorite one so far. I love the sense of story we get from the surroundings and your facial animations and gestures were really good. Nice work!

Patrick Chin:

Love it! The animation is great. Only wondering who he's talking to.

Gino Garibaldi:

Excellent! I think you could do with out the passed out guy as it distracts a little IMO. but great awesome job....

Jeremy Schichtel:

love how he walks and moves around

Mathieu Walsh:

awesome mate! awesome!

Eric Mesa:

love the face at teh end!

Chris de Souza:

Wow. I'll never wash my eyes again!

kienwei80:

Good acting!

Ann-Marie Denham:

Great facial work!

Mat Thompson:

Very nice indeed . Loved the posing on 'thought' and 'help' and the dejected ending. The girl pose was pushed too far for me and seemed to accelerate out of tune with the rest of the piece. Apart from that best so far and I've only 14 more to go! Great stuff!

Trevor Hunter:

i like it! there some nice stuff happening.

i just kinda feel that his eye direction is all over....
who is he talking to?
man off screen? guy passed out? himself? or the audience?

some really nice lip synce too

Pete Y:

melodramatic

i like it!

Maggie:

Great work!

Francisco:

very good!!
