florian eberle:

very nice animation, but it feels a bit too big and fast at times

Matt Kenley:

nice render, I like the cig smoke a lot. The animation needs a little work. He looks stiff at times and other times floaty.

HariNarayan:

Kool setup
kool lighting
No noticeable facial animation
too much hand movement
fingers seems stiff (no curls)

Eric Huang:

Nice poses, your animation needs more follow through/secondary motion/overlap... it's too pose-to-pose right now

Matt Johnson:

Very nice! Love the addition of the smoke to show the arcs!
Really good antics and expressions. Keep it up!

Matt Garward:

Nice work overall, though the random hand-waving around "this girl that he loves" is a bit much, in my opinion. It doesn't seem to suit what he's saying and is a bit too big. otherwise good work!

Ozgur Yildirim:

I like your style. Nice rendering, too.

John Erickson:

Good job. I like how you have him say 'that girl that he loves' as if he is making fun of him. Good movement on the eyes. Some of the arm movement gets a bit distracting at times.

Marcos Borba Moreira:

hands are to floopy! good acting though

Pete Y:

nice character

Aaron Clement:

Nice lighting and the sniff was good. Overall the actions were too broad.

Josh Doohen:

appealing animation. bravo! partially exaggerated and beautiful movement!

Alonso Soriano:

flailing about a bit, arms not really in tune with what he's saying

W Jacob Gardner:

dont spend your time on effects. focus on animation.
the smoke is very distracting from the performance.

Sander Kamermans:

the animation is nice but I think the smoke is a bit distracting,..

Stuart Livingston:

floats here & there, has his hands up too much just too floaty overall. Nice lighting though ;)

jim Duffy:

Great character!

David Artura:

Nice! The arms are a bit too busy (for me) but they are consistant throughout. Really reat job!

Mariya Kalachova:

I think a little overgesticulation on the hands, but REALLY beautiful scene.

Seth Taylor:

Nice acting... also liked the cigarette action even though we are not supposed to be voting on the special effects

Roger Feron:

Not bad. I think too many of his gestures are too similar in the first half because his hands often move towards (or near to) his head and away again. He looks away a few times, just quickly, which is cool, but try hold that for longer - take his focus elsewhere for longer as he 'thinks'... then bring him back to the "person" in front of him.

Alexis St-Laurent:

The start is good and the animation is going nicely. The major thing bogging me is the stifness the charcter gets from the frame 81 to around the frame 152. The character is still moving, but the he goes from moving in a cartoon way to a more hand puppet way and the ngoes back to the cartoon way at the end. If you could keep the style during the whole scene, I would be forced put in a better note ;)

John Cruz:

Visually pleasing. although I think that maybe this would have rated better with me personally if he had been doing something else with his hands other than waving them up above his head,

Mat Thompson:

Kinda goofy animation with a goofy looking character, but I enjoyed it. I liked the 'girl' posing alot. Weak going into 'me'.

Paul Davis:

The smoke from the cigarette could have been a bit better, but very good job otherwise. The animation fit nicely and the lipsyncing was dead on.

Victor Wong:

Cigarette smoke's path not really "real." Facial expression and timing of poses are good.

Tara Utke:

His arms a little distracting at the beginning. They all have the same amount of "bigness" to the movements.
I really liked it though. Good Job! The best I've seen so far.

Ciaran:

Pretty good work. I really like the sniff at f200. It's a small criticism but at f65, the arc you've chosen obscures the face and, I know not every single frame has to have a great silhouette but that one catches my eye. I'd prefer if the hand moved out to the side a bit more on it's arc so the head is always visible.
...also, take it easy with the smoke. It's puffing out smoke like a steam trains chimney.

Roberto G:

Polish the Lip sync and this will be a sweet animation
