nice poses and there is a lot going on on this acting piece, what i would do is work more on the facial animation cuz that's where we look at, now it seems doll.. work the lipsync and some head / eye acting and you would have a nice piece
Chris de Souza:
Nice acting and poses. Very nice. Maybe you should have added another character on the bench with him. It looks like he's talking to someone but nobody's there... which makes him seem a little nutty. :)
David Meyers:
not bad, u have some nice poses. only thing I notice is maybe u could try mixing up the speed on some of the poses. it seems a lot of the parts are moving at the same rate. Nice job this month.
Gregory Marlow:
I like the prim and propper attitude.
Alonso Soriano:
feels pretty stiff, and he's not focused enough on his listener, either the listener is straight in front of him, or on the far end of the bench. Also his emotions don't quite fit the dialogue
Jeremy Schichtel:
love the glasses
David Alvarez:
I think this is one of the best animation this month but the characters moods don't really fits with the audio clip ( in my opinion)
Eric Huang:
When he crosses his legs, I think there needs to be more anticipation and weight shift... right now it seems a bit random in transition. Great poses though :).
Aaron Clement:
The last pose is good... but felt a little too complex overall. Felt a little poppy at times... Good work on his clothing look.
Marcos:
that's a great match with the voice and the character with a great attitude too,
kienwei80:
Not bad. I like your subtle animation like the arms and hands.
Patrick Chin:
Cool idea for a character and some nice gestures in there. Just a bit to many accents. Also try to get most of your chest rotation from the middle spine control instead of the upper one. Will make it feel more natural (assuming that is what you want). The ribcage is a lot more rigid than the intestines. But overall well done!
Patrick Alessi:
The whole thing is very pose2posey...
If you could make it the whole act more flow i thnink it would be great!
Yeray Díaz Díaz:
Well, sir, I would indeed suggest :P just kidding, nice twist to the clip. You've got a couple of nice poses there although you might've staged the camera closer since the feet barely move and there's plenty of screen space unused. Also the lipsync needs work.
Animationwise you need to pick a couple of poses you really like and express what you want and focus on communicating better, he sees to move too much, except for the "loves" part which looks nice (a little out of place for the clip in my opinion).
Eun Ki:
I love key poses, hand gestures!! Wow!
David Artura:
There's a lot good here. I would suggest that you work on your moving holds. Now he hits a pose and just freezes. A bit of a move on a hand or in the torso would really texture this nicely.
Teju Aloysius:
good poses dude....u could have do more concentrate on timing. and on the f curves too(generally meant the blend of poses) . good going dude
ArunVijayan:
nice acting!!
Ritwik Nag:
Niice retro thing u got there!! animation compliments the style too-thats what i felt
Danny Garnett:
a little to many poses, cut some out and this will be great!
Emmanuel Vergne:
nice poses, sometimes a little too mechanical (especially the moment when he crosses his legs) but it works pretty good
Henning Koczy:
The franticness of the voice acting is not coming through in the animation.
Derek Mabson:
Nice. Nothing for me to critique.
Ciaran:
Really nice work. I think that from "maybe, y'know..." to the end it gets a little bit hectic or, at least, not as refined as the start. He makes more shapes and gestures but that might just be taste. I really like this one.
Eric Scheur:
You have a lot of very nice and natural movement in here. Some good acting choices. :)
The one thing that stands out to me the most is that your character begins in a very default pose. Almost as if to say "I'm waiting before I deliver my line... it's not time yet, it's not time yet.... okay... now!"
Remember that when we cut into a scene, we're generally looking at an action/emotion that's already started.
On the whole, though, I like how natural your movement is. Keep it up! :)
jesus gomez diaz:
muy muy chulo, le he visto un par de cosillas que ya te las dire en persona jeje un besazo
Chris Dardis:
this character has a great sense of poise. you can really tell what kind of a fellow he is by his more upright stances. So not only saying the lines, but character!! (missing from a lot of entries). Good stuff
Robert Tighe:
nice posing. I wish he moved a bit more.
andrea:
nice poses! I like the way you filled the "empty" time with him touching his glases and hat. I don't really like the pose during "the girl that he loves" with his outstretched finger. Its a little random and too delicate (maybe a little feminine) for the rest of the acting.
I know its almost impossible in such a short time, but you could try to fill in more acting into the animation. Meaning giving him more poses, more thinking, more stuff he is doing on the "transistion" parts of the anim. I don't mean to overdo the action by him being all over the place or very nervous, just him always beginning, ending or changing thought constantly.
Good work all over!
James:
Nice idea for the character's acting, although I don't think the expressions and body language reflect the audio's emotion/tone of voice too well.
