haha poor little monkey! I'd switch the arms to IK so the hands aren't floaty when they are on the bars. Overall, its all a tad floaty to me. Try tightening it up some more. There might be a bit too much arm movement as well. Especially at the end where he moves that screen right arm over again. I'd say pick one of those two spots and keep it there at the end, instead of sneaking another movement in there on the important part of the phrase where we should focus on the face. Great job!
Shahbaaz Shah:
Fun idea! Kinda hard to see the with the busy background.
Dan Dulberger:
Arm and hand gestures could be abit more snappy. And btw, that monkey face was perhaps not the best to convey human emotions.
Isaac Hingley:
a bit floaty in parts especially with the hands on the bars. also the sync is off in a few places.
Michael Slater:
Like the monkey. The head movements are cool. Very funny.
Dwarakanath Jnaneswar Ekkirala:
the arms could go up on "Town".. mouth shapes could be more asymmetrical.. idonno the rig limitations tho.. and avoid twinning if you can..Keep going!
Lauren Wells:
Good work! I like the acting here. I'd say just be careful about the hand intersection through the bars and overall contact with the bars.
Nenad Mitrovic:
Nice work, try to make the contact with the bars more believable.. the hands float there a bit, I don't really get the impression (s)he's holding on to them.
Aaron Clement:
Nice... a tad floaty... good imagination.
Alonso Soriano:
this model's mouth is such a prominent part of the character design, I feel like you really have to get your performance out of it, but it looks like you may not have enough mouth control/shapes to really do that. The staging with the bars kind of breaks it up into hand | face | hand, making me lose the hands, but that's okay because the hands don't feel like they are really grabbing those bars, nor do they feel really solidly working with the performance. Lids and eyes are decent, but the brows are way to still, especially with the eyes so small, I think you have to really sell their actions by re emphasizing with the brow. Body's really stiff, and at the end moving, but at the beginning I thought it was standing still.

Christian Leon Christensen:
funny subject, but more lipmovement thanks :)
Christiaan Moleman:
The wave action on the fingers when she's got her palms up strikes me as more annoyed than desperate. I think the monkey could perhaps move closer to the bars to really emphasize "a life etc" and then slide down forehead against the bars.
John T. Coomey:
Haha. Monkey.try choose angle that aren't straight on as they can be more less dynamic than a 3 quarter shot
Virgil Mihailescu:
the expressions and poses are unclear, I like the head movement, eye movement, a little, but I think the model doesn't help very much in this case, especially the mouth. it's hard to judge. but there was a lot of room for better interaction with those bars. I'd say the body animation is a little floaty.
Taber Dunipace:
Gestures are really weak and the acting is sort of all over the place. Nice idea but needs to be better executed.
Mike Courtney:
The right hand seems to intersect the bar when coming off of it. The first part of the lip-sync seems to be missing. The initial pose is strong.
luis veiga pumar:
lipsync needs work, you see way to much teeth all the time.
poses are a bit weak, and mirrored. feels floaty
Dylan Maxwell:
funny concept. Study up on the acting a bit.
Jett Atwood:
The dialogue and the action don't seem to be related at all. Try acting it out, pay attention to where the emotional beats are in the line.
Jason Campbell:
A suggestion on posing, watch out for mirrors. When the arms match too closely even when the intent is for them both to be up in the air at the same time vary one to give the pose some interest.

Description: This is my very first competition, i wish the face had more controls the eyebrows. i couldnt get the worried look i wanted with the few brow controls the monkey has.
Experience: about to start my 3rd semester at animation mentor.
Time taken: about 9 hours
