gerardo:

I like her face.. he is very good too

Mike York:

ROCK ON! Im really digging this one. Good work!

I really look forward to seeing it finished with color and shadows if you take it that far

Hernán Bruna:

Really good ^^ the idea it's a litte bit simple and boring i guess, but the animation is great and very clean.

Jeff Kim:

I really like this one. The only part that bothered me was the cut to the fruitcake: I don't think it was necessary. That time could have been used to show us the expression of the woman's face as she reacts, "a fruitcake?" Overall this is excellent!

Ken Rice:

Nice line animation - shame the close up of the cake doesn't have an animated outline like the rest of the piece.

Tyson Ibele:

Hahah wow this is fantastic!!!!! Great work!

Steve Clarke:

One of the best ive seen so far. Great style and timing. Most impressive!

Tim Nowak:

This shows exactly what you might think about when you hear the sound! A++
I think we might have out 1st place winner here

Radhika:

wow really smooth 2D stuff!

Avner Engel:

Great solid entry, I did feel like I wanted to see both characters in the frame at some stage. It felt like there were too many cuts at some stage. Pretty cool effort other than that, well done!

Erik Westlund:

Ah, clarity of posing and staging. Nice lines of action, flow lines, silhouette value, tilt to the heads, etc., etc. I particularly appreciate the accents in breakdowns and the over shoots before settling. You emphasize the right moment in the audio. Nice volume control on the gift while being examined. A few small nits to pick: 1-his head and face should arc just a little when he deflates on "Yesss... ". 2-Tag reads as "from Tom/ to Mom" until on closer inspection (scrubbing) "to Mrs M." is seen. 3-shot of gift is static, mostly horizontal slap in the face. Otherwise, you are leaving me wanting more.

Emmanuel Vergne:

Nice !
Good lipsync
I like the way she's "playing" with the cake at the end

Tom Law:

this is simply awsome, very well done

Chris Sacco:

Very nice movement! It flows really well!

Taber Dunipace:

Aww, I wanted to see his reaction! Very very nice. The still frame is a little jarring for some reason. Too suddenly here and gone I think.

Frank G:

Nice and subtle. Well acted. Very good. I think this is close to being the best animation.

Justin Weg:

Cool character designs.

chia:

Great work.2D ROCKS.

cheers,
chia

RT:

Really liked it. Especially the accents with the old woman.

sharad kumar:

i think when he says,Yess!!! u need to give him a proud looking pose not the guilty look u r using now.

Cameron Huber:

I LOVE the characters and I love this animation! I especially like the fact that her rejection of the cake isn't negative, but more curious. It compliments the old lady's already pleasant looking nature

TOP STUFF!

jerome Saravas:

grandma perfectly match with da sound

Mat Brady:

This is sooo much better than most, if not all, the 3d stuff I've just seen. Well done!

Markus Kallio:

niiiceee.. :) card is ingenious :D

ArunVijayan:

Good Animation!!!!

Matt Kenley:

wow, very nice.

Agne:

I think this is veryprofessional

Paulo Clayton:

Wonderful styling! Well animated, nicely portrayed.

Derek Mabson:

Nice touch with the to and from tag. Nice animation

Joe Jacob:

You have an amazingly smooth animation style. I'm jealous.

Andrew Stovesand:

nice

adrian sairin:

good animation. I think its missing the emotion change in the guy. It should change after she says "remarkably...."

Renn:

Fantastic drawn animation! Top quality artwork and characters.

Kat Curry:

very sweet. like to see it all finished out someday. lotta personality in the faces. i LOVE it when people do 2D!!!

boonyik:

great work!. sincere take on the dialogue.

Michael Richard:

Wow, very nice! I love the old woman's grab of the cake... and the man's looking down with a sigh! Very little for me to crit!

lizzie:

nice animating of what is there. but it needs a bit of something extra to make it stand out as something exciting to watch.

Lindsay Thompson:

My favorite piece! Great job!

Brad Regier:

I love this. Polished, etc. You have a really nice style.
The CU seems a bit superfluous.

Aaron Clement:

This is really nice, man... It felt really sincere. I love the subtlties in this... Great job!

Allier Zelaya:

Great animation.

Eddie Chew:

very nice work

doc:

2d RULES!!!!!!

Ambuj:

nice!!

M.Bell:

Nice work. Having the "To" & "From" on the little tag/card as if it were erased and re-written was a great little thought / thing to show. Solid piece.

Richard Clark:

Great job!

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

Nice effort, you got some nice movements. I like the "yes" seems sincere and you show an expression that I think fits the audio. However I think you missed the expression on the lady, she seems very still, I miss some more expression.

Nice 2D piece.

Dave H Shovlin:

Your work is always stellar. Bravo!

Anthony Travieso:

This is an awesome shot. Both characters feel great. I really like overlap on her face in shot two. In that same shot frames 51 to about 54 the guys hand looks weird. His thumb move up frame 53 and then on frame 54 its at the bottom of the box. I think that needs to be rework.

Adam Green:

I like this one: good character design, simple, readable acting, and an extra star for doing it in 2D. Good job!

jonathan fontaine:

aaah drawing !

selvaraj:

best work....

Lisa Taylor:

I like this, definately the best one I've seen so far. Well done.
