The colors look great! but I think it would help a lot if the other character had at least a bit of acting, maybe some blocking :0

I love the fire character's motion within his container. I think you did a great job with the acting of both characters faces to really fit the dialogue. My one critique would be that the character on the right is a bit stiff with their body and head. A slight down tilt of the head might go a long way to make them feel alive.
