The characters aren't very expressive, make them more animated, speak with their movements as well.

I like the father and son idea.
You should add more poses, even if it's small variations, because otherwise it looks dead.
The lip-sync needs more refinement too.

The phonemes are not working properly.. please pay attention to them and also the animation needs a lot of polishing.. they are in same line of action from the beginning till the end.. it makes the animation boring.. feels like nothing much is happening to pay attention to..
