Very good! The expressions can still be pushed a bit but I do like what you have right now. Perhaps it is because they are off screen but we're not getting a clear image on if the vegetarian is moving to the right. For a single character animation it may be best if the eyes stay focused in a single direction.

James Hornby:

A real simple thing you could add to strengthen this would be to keep a consistent eyeline. At the moment I would struggle to picture where the off screen character is located

I feel this shot needed some body motion like maybe pacing back and forward kind of stuff, your eyes don't feel right.

Adrian Winchell:

Seeing so much of one character, I'd like to see a bit more reactions when the voice is off-camera.

Nice, but I'm not sure where he's looking at. If the second character is not shown in frame at least you should suggest that he's here with the look of the character that we can see.
