Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
Well actually I don't think so.
But of course I could be wrong, but I think they don't... "sound" alike, if you know what I mean... But you might be right, this could very well be some guy making fun of us, come to think of it...

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
Don't know for sure, but this seems a little odd to me.
USER - after being very vocal on this thread, suddenly stops posting on may 21st....He constantly went on about this bouncing house idea as a sarcastic idea he had that is better than a bouncing ball..... no one agreed.
LEX - sets up a blog on the 25th of May (just 4 days later), and then starts posting on this thread with equal regularity as user did. Blog set up and first post all in same day. Saying something about the bouncing house being really good idea..... Come on.... Surely he's playing a joke on us! How is that a good idea. On LEXs blog, it says that he thought the idea of a bouncing was was a good one and stole it..... Come on, this guys trolling.
Also, Lex definitely has that cocky, never wrong attitude and posts sarcastic replies.
I hope to god he's younger than 13, at least then there is a chance he'll grow out of this.

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
and I just checked the times that both users posted comments and Based on Users time zone, The posts are all consistent with either before or after school....
Ha ha ha..... I enjoyed this... Screw animation, I want to be a detective!!!!
Nice trolling Lex.

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
I think either way this thread should be laid to rest. Its got too much potential for negativity. Instead we can start new post, discussing this month's audio which is awesome. The bounce between the two contrasting personalities. Great fun!
also @ danjudge, I did my own background work on you. You work at TT games, which I couldn't believe made Crash Bandicoot. I know you didn't work on it, but totally one of my favourite games in my teen years ![]()
As for your personal work, nice reel. Love the strolling past teachers door and the courtroom pieces

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
Ha ha. Thanks man. I'll still take credit for crash bandicoot though (even if i wasn't in the industry when it was released!).
Yeah, I think the moment I realised this is definitely a school kid (due on here in about 40 mins), then I realised career advice is pretty pointless.
So Lex, keep trolling, stay in school, say no to drugs and have fun until this becomes a career thing.

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
So you're saying I'm that User guy? Actually, I'm not. Sorry to disappoint you, you should definitely stay at animation after all, DanJudge. ![]()
I kinda get a whole lot of negative vibes around here, I thought here is where the cool people hang out. Well think again.
I was about to share an update of my bouncing house animation, but seeing you guys don't want me to, I'll post it somewhere else.

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
please don't retaliate people, don't even comment back. i want this thread to disappear. Spoils the magic of this month's competition, which I think the entries were fab!!
@lexfundamentals, if u wish to post your work in the personal works section, please do but only if you're willing to listen to people's critiques. There are much bigger and better animators on this site than myself and you and its an amazing opportunity to learn from them. Nobody likes being told we're wrong, but wherever you go in your career, you're going to make mistakes and you need to listen if you wish to progress.
If you choose to go elsewhere, good luck with whatever you choose to do

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
I motion we close this thread.
Can I do that? Not sure, but what do you think?
Oh, people call me Daffy, they say that I am gooney. Just because I’m happy is no sign I’m Looney Tuney. When they call me nutsy, that sure gives me a pain. Please pass the ketchup, I think it’s going to rain. Oh, you can’t bounce a meatball, though try with all your might. Turn on the radio, I want to fly a kite!

Re: Hard-work DOES NOT PAY OFF
This thread has gone totally off topic, and I'll take some of the blame for that, but there's no I'll feeling or anything is there? It might be off topic, but no one seems upset or anything.
I don't feel like anyone has been hurtful and I apologise of I've upset anyone too, with regards to thinking Lex was also user.... I don't really care if he is or isn't, so I hope I didn't come across as being provokative. But there's no need to delete it is there, unless I've missed something.
It's all a bit of banter. Seems pretty innocent to me.
PEACE!
