Baby Boom Club!
It seems that I keep coming across people in here that are expecting or just had a baby.
Just curious who else in here is expecting.
My wife is due on August 25th (which is why I dropped AM for 1 quarter).
Gonna be a boy. Also the first for me.

Congratz! I've got 4, so we're pretty much done... kids grow exponentially, so it seems most times like we've got 16. ![]()
They are a ton of work but also the most awesome thing in the universe. Enjoy. ![]()

my wife's due any second with our first, I keep waking up amazed that we made it through another night with out heading to the hospital. We don't know the gender, so we have a few names picked out.

Just be glad that you get to sleep now.
I have a 18 month old and I still don't get to sleep. The last time he chose to sleep through the night was fathers day. Good gift I guess.
Sound like some of you guys might be in the hospital as we speak though. ![]()

Congratulations ALonso, and to the little mama.

Re: Baby Boom Club!
Well I wasnt able to finish up my August entry and submit it because our son was born over the week.
Hayden Johnson - came in at 9lbs, 9 oz! He is just as awesome as can be.
Its still kinda strange having a baby around, but I am loving every minute of it.
My wife was a champ with the delivery and basically had it natural after her epidural wore off! crazy!
Good luck to all you new dads, I am seeing that 3 or 4 hrs sleep a night is something to get used to!

Re: Baby Boom Club!
Congrats Matt, and Alonso!!
Ohhhh yeah, sleep is definitely something you can forget about for a while. I have a 2 1/2 year old that was born just before I started at AM, and I have a 5 month old. How I find any time to animate at home is something of a miraculous feat!
But, it is quite an amazing experience. You've been blessed with one of the most beautiful events that can happen to a person.

Re: Baby Boom Club!
Hey Matt-
Congrats on the new addition to the family! I remember when my son was born.... it was one of the best days of my life. I have a little advice on the sleeping thing. Get him out of your room/bassinet and into his own crib by about the 3rd month of his life. It was the best thing my wife and I did for him and us! Oh, you get bonus points if you either a) feed your baby the bottle at least once during the night , or b) if your wife is breast-feeding, get up and hand her the baby in bed so she wont have to get up at all. She will appreciate either, I'm sure.

Hey, congrats, Matt!
I may be taking a term off at AM here soon, so maybe we'll be back in sync for graduation!
