Eros & Psyche - The movie

This thread is dedicated to sharing with you the production of the story of Eros & Psyche, and to seek out collaborations with modelers, cinematographers, voice over actors, and just about any other roles under the sun that this production will be able to afford and require to shine almost as bright as Aphrodite's glory... because nothing shines brighter then the glory of the goddess of love... (hubris and all) ;]

This animation will be part of a web series re-telling the legends of Greek mythology.

Any help with this project will be rewarded with your name in the credits (if you so chose).
Thank you in advance for keeping an eye on this thread.

Cheers,
Krios

The story so far:
The fame of her beauty was so great that strangers from neighboring countries came in crowds to
enjoy the sight, and looked on her with amazement, paying her that homage which is due only to
Aphrodite herself. In fact Aphrodite found her altars deserted, while men turned their devotion to
this young virgin. As she passed along, the people sang her praises, and strewed her way with
chaplets and flowers.  (source: Thomas Bulfinch http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/cupid.html)

... and here's the last scene (or is it a sequence?) of this episode.
A bit of a spoiler, so feel free to skip it ;]

Re: Eros & Psyche - The movie

Thanks for your interest Pedronix.
We are currently looking for a modeler to set up some scenes and texture map artists to decorate them.
The program used for this project is Poser.  And if you are interested in animation, we can talk about it some more.

Re: Eros & Psyche - The movie

Maya is used for modeling on this project, but otherwise it's too slow for animation, even though it's superior at it.

This is a 6 FPS pose test, so the clothing is a bit erratic, but if it works at 6 FPS, it will be perfect at 24.
Also, it's faster to simulate 680 frames (@ 6 FPS) as opposed to 2700 frms. (@24 FPS)

Enjoy & feel free to comment if you'd like.
