Re: WIP Animation, advice needed

Hey zimzima, that's a nice very shot there.. but what i saw is when the character lands his right foot starts moving oddly. It kinds of starts floating with no weight on it when he turns around. I feel like in the start also when he spins the ball and moves a bit to prepare for the shot his right foot also turns even when the entire weight is on that leg only, it should not happen this way. These are the few things I could point out as a beginner maybe others could help you better smile
Else the shot looks very good and quite funny too, Good Luck! smile

Cool shoot. If you get you timing right i think the weight will fall into place. Your poses are pretty good so play around with the timing and see if you think the weight improves. One thing i did notice (and correct me if i am wrong ) but when he takes that step backwards, it actually looks like you rotated the whole character? This makes it look like he is standing on a roomba or something smile Its made the move look very odd an mechanical. But you are not far off and if you could not see the legs you would probably get away with it.

Re: WIP Animation, advice needed

I tried to follow all your advices and upgrade the shot (especially the feet): https://vimeo.com/241015553
Ten_thousand_hours : i will work more on timing, the animatoin look too slow to me, i need to make the steps faster but at this point of the animation it's difficult to change timing ^^. I retook the rotation you talking about so tell me what you think.
