Re: Doom Acting shot

Its a good start. I'm going to focus on the body animation here. Currently most of it is moving at the same time. Your hips and torso have no offset or overlap. There are also some very long holds where nothing in the main body is moving for quite a few frames and i would watch your arcs starting at the hips which seem to move completely straight up and down a few times. Keep at it though as i think it could be a really nice little piece. Well done

Re: Doom Acting shot

Some good improvements in breaking up the timing a little, however, f20-28 and 37-54ish the hips are still totally static. It's really eye catching. This does not mean you need anymore big moves on the hips, but moving holds and some good ease-ins and outs will add some 'keep alive' motion so your eye is not drawn to it as much. Also there are at least 4 instances where your characters hips are moving only in the Y axis. Did you have a look at your arcs? you may find you some flat curves in there. Everything comes from the hips so a few adjustments should start to help everything flow better.
