Re: August competition - Work in progress.

This is the newest update!
I have at least all shots animated and shaded to just test how the final thing should look like, now i can focus on polishing all shots, id say shot 2 is at like 90%, 4 is at 80%, and 6 at 80%, the rest have a lot of work still.

I put it on synchsketch if anyone wants to write me some feedback

Hey electronicpulse, this is coming along great! Shots #2, #4 and #6 are looking awesome so far. My only suggestion would be to try pushing the lipsync in #4 and as you move forward break down the big guy movement in shot #3 when he's heavily breathing. Looking forward to seeing this develop!

Re: August competition - Work in progress.

1.Hi there, there are two things i can spot,  in any animation that has talking or sinning you need to be aware of head movement , even the slightest bit of head movement when he sings will make it more realistic.

Do this as a test, sing the song yourself looking at a mirror, it might sound weird but you will see how much your head moves when your sinning without even realizing it,

2. I think the noise grain effect you have put onto the video can be a bit distracting at times, try to reduce that,

also watch out for too pointy mouth corners as they don't translate well if you look at him sinning.

Good Luck !! And happy animating to all

1. hey thanks for the comments, ill do that test, and ill record myself.

2. the grain its not gonna be there in the final one, its just because its a low sampling render to see how the lighting and mood should look when its finished.

3. mouth and lipsynch in general are very hard for me, so thanks for that, im going to check it out!.
