Maya 2017 and 2018 performance issues<Solved>

I am using the Malcolm 2.0 rig in Maya 17 and noticed that the frame rate during animation playback started to slow way down to 10 fps or so. It seemed it was better to start and got worse over time.

I also tried Maya 2018 and that only supports viewport 2.0 and that is a dreadful 1 frame per second.

My rig is core i7 with nvidia gtx 960 4gb video ram, 16gb system ram.

Any ideas on how to improve this are appreciated, thanks!

Oh never mind I found the issue! I looked up the rig on the website they had a footnote that reads:

If you are using Maya 2016 or later, we recommend NOT using the new Parallel execution mode with Malcolm. There are speed and stability issues. To change it back to the previous mode, do Settings/Preferences>Preferences>Settings>Animation>Evaluation Mode>DG
We also recommend Legacy Default Viewport for maximum interaction speed.

So if anybody is having speed issues with Malcolm 2.0 change this and it works GREAT!
