Live Action Reference Problem<Solved>

Hello, I filmed myself doing the poses for my animation, however,my animation goes from frame 101 to frame 371 and my live action reference goes from frame 000 to frame 463. I have managed to move the appropriate image to the appropriate key pose in my animation, but I'm having trouble moving image 329 to frame 291. What should I set the frame offset to so that I can move it there?

Re: Live Action Reference Problem<Solved>

Did you try an offset of -38 and see if that worked?  I'm not sure how you set things up, but I would assume your video ref is a sequence of images or video file, if you offset it all by 101 it's not matching up?  Again, im assuming you are animating at 24fps, did you output your video ref at the same frame rate?

Instead of creating threads in the competition forum please ask your questions in your attempt thread or create another thread in the appropriate forums(Software trouble). Thanks

Re: Live Action Reference Problem<Solved>

I've tried setting the offset to -38, but it hasn't moved the image to where I want it to be. I am animating at 24 fps, and I did set the offset on the live action reference to -101, but the images won't sync up. Also, I tried setting the framerate of my 30 fps live action reference to 24 fps, but that slows it down and I'm still having trouble moving the image to the right frame. What can I do about this?

Re: Live Action Reference Problem<Solved>

I solved the problem. I set the offset to 45 and now the image is at frame 291.

Re: Live Action Reference Problem<Solved>

The underlying issue is the difference in frame rates, but what you have done will solve the problem.  Just wanted to make sure you understood why your having issues matching it up.  Glad you got it solved!
