Which Rotation X is proper?


I have been confused for this in a past few days. Can you point out if whether A or B is correct?
My main reference is this site www.fjasmin.net/walk_cycle_tutorial/index.html
Below there are pictures of the passing, down and etc positions. Someone pointed out that the reference but I would like to clarify.

I have seen several walk cycle tutorials but they just passed by with the Rotation X of the hips. I tried to do a reference for myself but the rotation is so subtle I can't figure out which is which.
