Feedback Please...

Blocking Plus stage on this little piece of animation I did over the weekends.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Re: Feedback Please...

Are you planning to do more with the mouth at the end where she starts sobbing? Because it should probably be engaged a lot more. The start is good though.

Re: Feedback Please...

the space between when she says "a good friend" and beginning to cry is all kind of one pose that doesn't communicate much. She's blinking and moving the eyes but it's not directed or caused by something she's thinking. You could probably put in a thinking pose that breaks up her always looking to the right. Have her look down and to the left, show her going through an emotion before she bursts into her cry.

Very nice. It seems like the mouth is missing something during "because" I think the mouth maybe to open.

Yes this was my first thought too, that she could pause and think with her eyes looking off screen. There is nice body movement in the beginning and middle but at end sobbing part it's just a quick minor slump forward and I would have liked to see more emphatic movement there, even her hands being thrown up to catch her face.
