Simple job

We are a small company that would like a character as part of our advertising. We have seen characters done in blender which seem likely. The character is very simple little more than a box with arms and legs. At present we are looking for a still image but if it works and cost is okay a small animination for our website might be in the offing. Any offers

Re: Simple job

Hi guys i was hoping for a bit more interest is it too easy. Any hints where i might ask. We thought a young student with some knowledge of blender would have knocked this out easily. I suspect i have underestimated how difficult it is. I am happy to pay, even do paypal or apple vouchers if thats what you guys want. If you visit our site www.dorsetwatersofteners.com
there is a photo of a watersoftener( white box with face on) thats softi and we would love to see him as a ray traced like character. Hopefully if funds allow then as a short animation on our site.
Go for it guys.

Re: Simple job

Hey Pawebby,
From my time here on 11 Sec Club, I've seen not too many students/artists who work on blender, as opposed to other 3d softwares like Maya and 3dsmax. I'm guessing you might be able to get a more positive response if you try out the Blender Artists forum at http://blenderartists.org/forum/index.php
or maybe get a more quicker response by contacting their twitter account at https://twitter.com/#!/BlenderArtists
Hope this helps.
