Re: Current Competition
I don't really wanna look the video before i had planned out some poses by myself ![]()
I can't get the first part of the monologue... "...it happens here. And it finishes here. Two men enter, one man leaves." What does he say before that?

Re: Current Competition
Voice One: "Now when men get to fighting, it happens here! And it finishes here! Two men enter... one man leaves."
thats one interpretation though. I am sure there will be many debates about the actually words. However, the important thing is that your own hearing of the words shines through in the acting. Good luck!

Re: Current Competition
One of the worse pics in 11Seconds history.
May was awesome ,but this one....nope.
The reason being that the character do not have a personality since he`s acting arbitrary for an audience already.
I`m not saying it`s impossible to get some juice out of it, it`s just it doesn`t have too many buttons to push.

Re: Current Competition
The video is linked by Johannes above (well-played, good sir), but for for anyone who is interested, here is the actual source for this month's audio.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985), not Mad Max (1979).
Recognized the audio clip immediately, as it is a favorite movie of mine - love the visuals, characters and settings in that film. It will be challenging to break the audio out of that familiar context and re-purpose it, but it should be interesting, and a lot of fun. Already working on a couple of ideas. ![]()
Good luck, everyone!

That's interesting, cristinelo, because I feel like this audio clip has a super amount of life going for it, and will let you really get into some great animation. Like really PUSH things. I find it harder to push stuff that's more subdued, and this is just dripping with emotion.

Re: Current Competition
That's funny. My original idea for this month had the guy holding a walking stick/staff.

Thanks!! I've updated the link on the competition page. Obviously I haven't actually seen these movies.
Keep meaning to!

Thanks, aja! Much appreciated. ![]()
Definitely recommend checking out the Mad Max films, including the second one, The Road Warrior (1981). Quick heads-up though, the first film is a lot different in look and feel than the second and third.
