Character hitting a wall?
Hey folks. I remember reading once a good article about how to animate a character hitting a solid object, such as a wall, without them knowing the wall was coming up? Does anyone remember this, or has anyone got any suggestions on how to do it properly?
Or, can anyone suggest an epic scene where this happens, such as in a Looney Toons episode or something?
Thanks!

Re: Character hitting a wall?
There is something about that in the animators survival kit, about spacing the character so it stretches and nearly touches the wall in the frame before the hit, did you mean that? Sorry, I couldn't find any pictures of that online...
as for an epic scene, try this epic Epic:

Fantastic Wolfor!! I flipped through the Survival Kit twice thinking it was in there, but couldn't find anything relating to it, but I've just found it. Thank you so much - and also, thanks for the Coyote clip, that's perfect! Much appreciated!

Re: Character hitting a wall?
yea there is about hitting wall spacing in survival kit its on page 93 , once the charactor hits the wall you can try to squash the charactor.. but you will need a niceee rig for that which give the result like this "blow vid"
watch that.. at 0:39 he hits his head to table .. and you can see that kind of defermation.. really nicee to look at if you ask me
