Awesome interview!

Why do I get the feeling they are building a small game for us, and at the end of workshop 3, all our animations will be put into it?  Or something like that. Too many teasers of a "bigger plan".

Re: iAnimate - Games Division

Yes, games are different than film/acting. For both, body mechanics need to be solid but there's animation vs gameplay to consider in games. Mocap is sometimes a necessity given the time constraints and realistic style of games like Call of Duty. This Workshop will be all keyframe though.

Re: iAnimate - Games Division

BTW...that girl rig looks cool but I feel it has lost something that the original sketches had....the drawings were anime style, which I though was great. This looks a little generic in the face to me. Dunno. The rest of the stuff is SUPER COOL though, so Im not complaining.

Hey murraymints

Log-in details are usually sent out on either Friday or Saturday as I recall. You'll definitely have a good chunk of the weekend to get everything in order.

Re: iAnimate - Games Division

I agree that Lisa's rig lost something the sketches had. But I'm kind of glad about that. I don't like anime in the slightest.
