Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
Hey, I had a couple of hours spare today, and started blocking out a Happy walk for this, and here's what I have so far:
How does it feel so far to you folks? The skip towards the end is missing some overlap in the arms and head, but I'd love to hear how it's feeling otherwise. Thanks!

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
Nice start Ohjin! I really like the idea, it'll look great!
You should look for better arcs (greater up&down movement maybe) and a bit more drag while he moves away.

Thanks for the crit. I think having him fall into the walk will work well. So Ill pull his weight forward more as he steps at the beginning. And yeah I'll have him lean back a bit more as he moves across screen.
As far as arcs, was that meant for the hands?
Again thanks for the crit.

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
i think more up and down and leaning will create bigger arcs that will be better seen, thats what i acually meant
arcs on the hands looking good to me!

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
this is basic blocking, i have done it in 2 different shots....just see the timing and spacing...
and any comments, i would be very happy.
ok i guess i made a big mistake by two different shots or what....just tell me...coz in the first shot was of IK (hands) and in the second shot i had done it in the FK (hands)....

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
This is like wow! So many people participating! Great! Jigar, in almost any rig you can switch between IK and FK, mostly with snapping the one to the other. So, no worries there, but you can also just edit those two shots together, would work just the same.
Kromany, nice start, but what you're still missing completely is some weight. You can gain this by adding some up/down to the body during the walk, for example. Looks very happy already!

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
@wolfor i did understand but the problem which i have done, that i have done it in 2 different scenes (but same camera) and when i tried to import one of the scenes first thing only one abxpicker is working....
here i had done this.....but the shot which i had done it had a fatal error..worse thing was that the auto save wasn't enabled
see the problem between 81 and 82F
anyways so what ever i have done in the shot_1 i will do that in the shot_2 coz the shot_1 is easier...

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
I think it looks better as one shot. If the main thing stopping you is that the picker is not working, why not treat it as a normal rig and use without?

Re: MC 29: Lets take a walk!
@jigar_03 - Definetly works better as one shot. watch out for that right arm at frame 90, being straight and static
The walk is great, but unsure about the 'cheer'. But if you have acted it out and it feels natural, then keep going with it.
@patob215 - Love the idea, and really great energy. Is there a reason why the ladies heals are off the ground. Unless your going to add high heels, then I just do a normal foot roll. If you are doing high heels, Id suggest putting them in at the beginning so you can animate around them from the start.
@Kromany - The pickup is good. But the walk lacks energy and 'fuppiness' ( fun and happiness( yeah I just made that up ). Check your poses. Loosen him up a bit.
Good job everyone.
