Bharat's Animation Thread

01 Ninja Shot

Direct Link

This shot idas based on the Blocking Chapter on How To Cheat In Maya by Eric Lutha and Kenny Roy. Im still to add in extra shots in the beginning to make it more interesting. This is the Blocking stage. Im having some issues with the eyes at the end so will refine it later. All comments and critics are welcome.

Further on How To Cheat In Maya, I did this fly-cycle today. Also added in some extra limb action at the end. Critics are most welcome.

Re: Bharat's Animation Thread

heya Barath...the fly cycle...i guess u can give more overlap to the wings because now it kinda looks like card-board bends....hope you are getting my point...

Pls use the direct link if the video is a bit jerky.

Third and final exercise I did from this awesome book called How To Cheat In Maya. I had a lot of trouble with the lip sinc and i know it's not my best. But I hope I'll be better next time.

This is my idea for the ninja part 01 i talked about above. I didn't do anything extraordinary but just some basic things. The clip has no timing but just the key poses. I working on the timing right now. Pls do criticize/.

Re: Bharat's Animation Thread

poses look good..i think what i would do at frame 8 .. instead of him geting up and going to the left side blok. i would think of 2 things
one- after he jumps acually lands behind the left block .. then looks .to frame 12 pose..
two-jumes lands where he has landed now and roll over to the block to the left..
