Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Looking great David. Her feet seem a bit too far apart when viewed from the front. Other than that, seems to be working.

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
I agree with coolbird, the feet did seem a bit too far apart, I also might consider toning down the flop of the toes, some drag is good but right now it feels a lil too much. Cool modification on the rig though. Reminds me of incredible s ![]()

Fantastic run cycle David. She has some great character, and lovely timing. I agree with the others about the feet being just a bit too far apart. Apart from that, she looks fantastic!

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
I fix the distance between the legs and i made the flop of the toes more subtile. Thanks againf for the advice! How do you see it now?

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Umm, David, the distance still looks pretty much same to me. Because of which, she looks like she is hopping over flowers or something. Since, she is a super girl, it would help her being nimble on her feet, which can help her take evasive actions on the fly. She needs to be locked onto her target, kinda thing. Hope it makes sense. My 2 cents.

Awesome looking run cycle. Well done. Very cartoony and snappy I like it. Which rig is it that you modified? For some reason I can't tell.

Sweet run cycle. I love the timing of your contacts, they read so well for the small amount of time on screen. Nice

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Really cool cycle. Timing is great. And i'm gonna say something really contraversial n say that I like the width of the feet. Fits with the character, the action in the hair, for me, is a little off. I know that's terribly vague :s apologies. I think its that it only moves at the tip. no flow to it, kinda flops instead.
But yeah, its well cool anyways, good job!

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Thanks shadowhelm18, I'm glad you like the timing on those contacts!
cecil_seed: Thank you! I'm glad you like the timing. Yes, I think the feet like this give her some personality, i like the jumpy felling she has. I''m still going to tone that down a little bit tough. I see what I can do about the hair, thanks! ![]()

cecil_seed: Thanks for the hair sugestion, I tweak the movement of the hair a little bit, i think it fits more now.
characteranim78: I tone down the flop of the toes as you sugest, it was to much ![]()

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Hi!
Sorry that I edited your post, the videos seem to only embed when they is no a https: link, and I needed to check that. It is not my usual habit of changing other people's posts.
What I now did is I removed the 's' of the https:// link and it seemed to work now ![]()
Great run cycle, btw. Very well done ![]()

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Nice run cycle !
The reverse curve on the pigtail is a bit too strong for my taste (it feels like the hair has an energy of it's own), but the overall rythm of the animation is very nice !

Re: Super Girl - Run Cycle
Very NICE cycle!
I gotta go with Toutouffe on this one...
...the tail looks so stiff from the head that with the tip moving so much it doesn't look right.
also, I think the tail needs more secondary motion when flapping side to side...
...you can totally see the Pose-to-Pose motion of it all instead of a natural flow to her hair, ya know?
(unless it's a certain STYLE you're going for?)
Cheers! ![]()
