Alt Animation Podcast
Hello fellow Animators,
After listening to some awesome animation podcasts by some of the best in the business, it made me realize that 99% of real life animation work doesnt take place at Pixar or Dreamworks and there are a million different ways to be a animator.
So I decided to make my own podcast talking about the alternative side of the animation industry and interview some interesting fringe animators (its totally FREE).

Please check out the the episodes and let me know your thoughts. If you like it, please subscribe or follow that page so that way it will be more visible on iTunes so other people will see it.
Thanks in advance guys! I love animation so much and I hope my excitement and passion for it comes through in the podcast, even if it isnt as articulate as I would hope

Your name is suspiciously close to my name! I'll have to check it out later, currently just checking the boards during work hours. Thanks for the link!

Just wanted to pop in here and give you a big thumbs up and a pat on the back for doing this Josh.
Hope you pull a crowd and persist with this podcast series and your own animation related stuff well into the future.
It’s always great to hear passionate people from places we otherwise might not know.
Cheers!

Re: Alt Animation Podcast
Thanks man!
The best part about it is how accessible people are and I didnt even realize. Like next podcast I interviewed the director of Meet Buck (salesmanbuck.com) and have emailed with some pretty inspiring people and the only reason is because I was pushed by the podcast.
Maybe through this forum I can land some other interesting interviews! Thanks again for listening, I hope you guys share with your animator friends, because lord knows I never run out of things to listen to while I animate (unless its lipsync of course)

Re: Alt Animation Podcast
Great podcast as usuall...
The interview was great and it was nice to have a little insight of what happened at sigraph. Oh and I totally agree, I saw the short "path of hate" (I think the studio that did it is from Poland) at the annecy festival and it is mindblowing !
Keep it up !
P.S :Thanks for the kind words concerning my animation.
And just for info my name is pronounced "dee" "go" "net (but without pronouncing the T)" ![]()

Re: Alt Animation Podcast
Glad you like it Romain! And thanks again for giving us some feedback.
So sorry for the horrible pronunciation
I did not know that I would be trying to properly say so many French names when I started this thing, I am definitely not qualified for that having been born and raised in Texas all my life.
