Re: Congratulations!

Congratulations Kevin!  it is a very impressive piece of work.  Can't wait to hear what the AM guys say.

Also a big thank you to everyone that offered up feedback for my first submission into the club.  It's a real learning experience and I hope to participate more.

Re: Congratulations!

Thanks  to everyone who voted and left a comment about this work... and thanks to EILuc for this topic.
It's my first participation and I'm so surprised to win this november competition..
I wish I had start to animate earlier than 3days before the deadline... That's why there's no secondary motion on the legs and some stuffs need to be refined. But there are very constructive comments among what you guys left... So thank you so much for that..!!!!
It was very funny to work with this soundtrack... But Fruitcake is already scaring me... ggrrrr... so subtle.

Thanks again and Thanks in advance to the A'Mentor !!!!!!!!

Agreed, congrats, Kevin! Very cool piece.

It took you three days?! Did you sleep at all during that time?

Re: Congratulations!

Great Job, Kevin!   I love what you did with the piece--I especially love the puppeteer's performance/reaction to the puppet.   smile   Excellent!

Re: Congratulations!

Congratulations, Kevin for a job well done. A unique and imaginative interpretation.

"Technology doesn't make the motion picture, people do. You're not an animator just because you can move an object from point A to point B. (You're) someone who breathes life into a character, which is something the software and technology can't give you."

Well done Kevin. smile

You could even think of your AM Critique as an early Christmas present, so again, well done. A much deserved reward. smile

Re: Congratulations!

Yeah... It's Christmas before the day. It's such a good present Jason gives me with his E-critique.. Definitely, I love this guy .I learned a lot with his Rigging Dvds and I advice everyone to take a look to his work. Thank you Jason !!!  .. and thanks Aja for this awesome website.
It's such a big motivation for working on the December sound file..I realize more and more that each details, each frame of our animations must be reflected, analyzed, chosen. So, don't let your software be the puppet master.. even when you are fed up with your animations. I also realize that it's my worst enemy because I become so fast a lazy cow and I pray My Max to create brilliant animations... But I don't think he's god, he's not a miracle maker and he can't definitely make our characters alive.. but WE can. So.. that was the thought of the day.
Now, let's fruitcaking our mind.. and thanks again!
