Re: FINALLY i have a DEMO REEL

I liked it, definitely entertaining to me, the basketball clip was the weakest of the whole.  All in all I don't think you'll have any trouble passing with that.

Good luck in your future

Re: FINALLY i have a DEMO REEL

Some nice stuff there. For a demo reel I'd probably steer away from the more 'fantastic' things like that guy jumping from wall to wall, which looks cool when a real person does it (like that guy in Die Hard 4.0 or in Casino Royale) because they look 'super' human by defying gravity. You want your 3D character to show gravity is there, not defy it ;-)  I tend to put 'slow motion' into that category too, since it doesn't actually demostrate a grasp of timing, but instead it distorts it, making it not real. I liked your acting stuff. The last acting clip could have had a few more little, twitchy moves to make him feel more tense. Good stuff!

Re: FINALLY i have a DEMO REEL

Tremont -  Thank you for those kind words.  I too felt like the basketball one was the weakest, that's why i kept it in the middle.  I'm thinking of just taking it out completely because I don't want anything ruining me from  getting the job.  I'm glad it entertained you, that was my whole goal.

worzel - Appreciate that you took time to look at the reel.  Those street jumpers, really inspired me so during that time I was really in the mood of making one just for my own enjoyment, but I'm glad I had your input so I won't make any further mistakes.  Thanks.

Productive!

Re: FINALLY i have a DEMO REEL

Hey Veeda21,

Not too bad.  I especially liked the running/action shots... The music seemed to suite those action shots, too... Just a little floaty in places... I'd really have the fast actions about twice as fast... and the slow almost as slow again...

Some nice touches with some of the acting shots, though!

Good Job!

Hey Arron

Thanks for the comment.  Could you point out where the floaty part are?
