Acting shot for class

Hey guys, I haven't been on here for ages! But I'm going to be more active on here now giving feedback and posting my animations. So, I've been working on this shot for about 2 weeks now. What do you guys think. Also, the facial animation isn't done yet. smile

Re: Acting shot for class

Hii fellow animator smile
Overall it's a good shot.Just  about 2-3  minor things felt off,the 3 times he takes his shoulder up when he at first says "you can't give in" it seems a bit fast or maybe too much pulled up so might wanna dial it down. Also just a better change in a pose that i'd like to bring to your attention, you can exaggerate the anticipation more before he throws the phone and in the end he turns too fast,i know it's a run but like he covers a lot of distance in short time so might wanna fix it.don't mean to be harsh or lower your confidence.Keep animating smile

Re: Acting shot for class

Hey Manraj, thanks for your feedback! These look like pretty quick and easy fixes smile So, later today I'll tackle those. The shoulder did feel a bit exaggerated to me as well so that's something I'll have to tone down.

I've gotten the same feedback about the run and the antic before the throw. So the positive here is that these changes are really specific (Plus extra polishing work I have to do).

P.S.

Don't be afraid to give feedback lol, especially to me because that's the quickest way to improve. If my confidence lowered after every feedback... oh gosh, I wouldn't be in the industry lol. I welcome all feedback smile Don't worry to break them apart! smile Thanks again for the feedback!

That's great. That's exactly how a person should take criticism but criticism needs to be done respectfully too smile
Ohh also like make sure it's not the same value of the up and down of shoulders, that will make it more interesting too.Good luck smile
