Spacing!

Hi ,
I am quite confused with the inbetweens created by computer so I am not able to give proper spacing to the body parts. For ex- keypose1 @frame1
and keypose 2 @f20. After that, when I decide to put my breakdowns I kind of get confusedwith the inbetween frames and get lost with my spacing and stuck at one place. So I am quite not sure how to get a clear understanding on computers. I always try to compare it with 2d animation and try to understand but still feel I am confident on this spacing concept. Also, that brings a confusion of how different parts of the body can be spaced? Also is it good to pose everyother frame like in 2d (ex: 1,3,5, etc) so we work only on posing and spacing) Please if someone could clarify me that would be great! Thank you in advance

Productive!

Re: Spacing!

I'd say to make sure you have some solid reference to go with. That way it eliminates any guessing of how much you should move a body part. Usually I see 3d animators animate on 2's a lot or 3's/4's or mix them all together. One guy that won a competition said at the very least there should be a key frame every 8 frames.
