Direct Link

Been staring at it for so long, and something still doesn't feel right. But I don't know what is it!

Re: Walk cycle - critique and feedback please??

Hi,

Here's what I think it is: The down/up movement of the waist as she plants her foot.
As she contacts the ground the waist goes down, and keeps doing so until she plants the foot completely. Next frame, the waist goes up. I think once the foot is planted, the leg needs to "absorb" the weight of the upper body, therefore the waist should keep moving down for a couple more frames (give or take).
Apart from that, it looks really awesome. It took me a while to spot it, cuz it does look great.

Re: Walk cycle - critique and feedback please??

Thanks for the feedback, Ivan. I think I did lose track of the waist along the way. I find the "absorbing" of weight during the foot landing the hardest to get, because of all the knee, feet and hips interactions. Drives me crazy sometimes xD
