JUICED! Animation Competition
Hey All,
I wanted to share an event with you taking place in March of 2013. The Citrus Cel Animation Film Festival is running a competition called JUICED! This is a 24hr animation competition where teams are given a few texture assets and a theme, and they are given the task of creating an animated short in a mere 24hrs.
This is our second installment of JUICED!, and we would love to get some of you talented animators from the 11 second club to participate. You do not have to be present at the festival to participate and all animation can be done remotely, and submitted to the competitions sponsored YouSendit drop box.
For more information, or to register for the competition, feel free to visit http://www.citruscel.com/juiced2013/
Do you have what it takes to get JUICED!?

Re: JUICED! Animation Competition
I did this one last year (or two years ago? Time is meaningless at this point, ha ha) and it was a ton of fun. Crazy amount of work, though, but still fun.
Here's my entry, if anyone wants to see it.
Good luck with this year's competition! Who knows, maybe I'll try it again. Except this time I would TOTALLY get a group together, because going it alone was insanely hard.

Re: JUICED! Animation Competition
Probably, thanks. I'll need to woo in some teammates, though.
What's the prize, do you know? If you can tell me that I might have a better chance convincing a few of my animation friends to join in, with less begging and crying on my part. ![]()

Storyboard Pro, huh? Wow, I would really love that... How does one go about getting that one, do you know? Do I need to like, shoot for 2nd place or something? ![]()
I'd really still like to enter, but I'm not sure if I'm going to have the constitution for it this year. Been busy and I remember the first time the 24 hour thing was pretty intense. I have some serious thinking to do!
