Work in progress

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Also, I should mention they're supposed to be wearing towels around their waists. At the end after he says "BAM!" his towel falls off.

Re: Work in progress

He should lean forward to keep his balance when he goes up on his heels when he says "BAM!"

Great job! smile

Re: Work in progress

Ah, yes. I see what you mean. I'll work on that. smile

Just a note, this IS my first time animating so I really don't know much. It's also incomplete in some spots. Just overall pointers would be great!

Thanks for commenting!

Re: Work in progress

Hey Toplin. Welcome to the wonderful world of 3D animation! Good first crack at it!

Here's something that got me started specifically with character stuff: http://www.navone.org/HTML/Tutorial_Splines1.htm

I'd either draw out thumbnails (on paper or in photoshop, flash, whatever) or shoot some reference of yourself acting this out (or both!). The reference will help with timing out all your moves in 3D, and (along with drawing) will help influence your poses.

Another thing... the brow usually influences the shape of the top lid (imagine the meat of your brow pushing down and covering your eyes)... I'm not sure if that rig has controllers for the eye shape, but if it does, try experimenting with that idea.

After watching your piece a few times, I noticed that you have some nice overlap on your hands and fingers, Keep at it!

Re: Work in progress

That's a lot for the help! This has proven to be very useful! smile

And I'm pretty sure this rig can adjust the eye shape. I'll try and work on your suggestions. I appreciate the feedback!
