Blocking pass - anorexic

This is my first time ever doing the 11 second club. And this is my first blocking pass. Please let me know what you think about it.

Re: Blocking pass - anorexic

I think there might be one too many cuts. The final one doesn't really fit as well as the first, so I'd say take that out. She can still look at the camera at the end (which is a nice touch) but without that cut it will be much smoother.

Good luck with it!

Although there is a cut to reveal to food.  It feels like it might be more powerful, if it was revealed from the beginning, and we had just one shot, with the camera slowly pulling in to her face.

Thank You for opinions.
I created second blocking pass. I removed cuts and made slow camera zoom.
I created more poses, and animate fingers and eyes.

I'm not sure it works at the end when you break the fourth wall (she looks directly into lens).  From what went on before, I never got the impression that the camera was supposed to be subjective, and we were actually sitting there at the table with her as she talked to us.

Maybe this will be better idea? She look at the camera at the start.

No, I like the more "surprising" look at the end. I think the trick is going to be really putting in the full emotion into the face, because right now it's that "blank stare" that is making it tough to get a good read on it. Start playing with the expressions in your keys and then I bet the final "look at the camera" won't seem out of place. But take out the one at the start, it doesn't fit the audio.
