Question on video file format for the competition
Hi,
I'm doing a mobile app for stop motion. It renders directly to 640x360 format .mp4, so I'm hoping it is compatible with the 11 seconds, without having to do a detour via Handbrake. How can I be sure? If I submit something for the competition, does the upload process verify that the video is ok, or is it a manual process?
The FAQ mentions just 16:9 as a requirement, but the competition entry form species 560x316 resolution.

Re: Question on video file format for the competition
We automatically re-encode everything that gets uploaded, and I don't see anything about your file type that shouldn't work (there's some weird XViD codec or something that gives us trouble, but very rarely). You can always upload early to test, and then replace the video as you get closer to the end of the month!
