Equal Footing, a startup in the mobile education market, is looking for animator(s) to develop preliminary animations to help aid in the proof of concept. The scope of the effort would revolve around animating characters through a number of routine daily activities. Estimated workload would be 10 to 15, 10 to 20 second clips. Based on quality of product and reception of concept, there is the potential for long term work that would involve greater creative control. Remote freelancers are welcome and encouraged. Varying levels of skills will be acceptable, however the more skill and creative abilities you have the better. Good opportunity for students and those who want to build up their resume!

A character has already been designed and rigged in Toon Boom. Some alterations may be needed, but the bulk of the character has been developed.  Opportunity for more creative freedom will come in potential follow on efforts.

Knowledge of traditional animation principles and techniques is desired.
Proficiency in digital animation software is required. (ToonBoom)
Experienced with all aspects of animation: modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing, animation
Experience in 2D animation/motion design preferred
