Hey all.  Do you know if I can alter or toggle forearm twist in IK?  I'm setting up a particularly unusual arm and hand position, and it looks great in FK, but I need it in IK.  No matter what I seem to do in IK, the forearm twists way too much and loses most of its mass.

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to this rig, the snap to fk/ik option doesn't seem to be working in 2015, after looking at previous posts from 2 years ago I've come to realize that those features are no longer supported since maya 2012.

Just wondering if there's any update since then?

Hi guys I'm getting this strangest problem, the manipulator of the right hand's IK is upside down. all the translation values are the left values times -1. that green arrow points down, and when I move the hand up, the Y value goes down, same in the graphic editor. Please please please can anyone tell me what's going on?

Edison, I'm having the same problem you are. I would really love some IK FK match switching, but I don't know enough code to do it myself. Just following up with this problem

Here's a new one (maybe).  Created custom shirt for Morphy and used a wrap deformer to attach and the custom Arnold skin shader no longer renders (the same shader is used on hands and ears and still render - they weren't part of the wrap operation).  Shirt deforms and renders in Arnold, but no body.  Anyone experience similar?

So far i haven't come across a person with a similar issue. I'm not so fussed with textures at this point, because every file that i have of morpheus (got him off the resources page in this site, came with 4 rig files) has an issue of verts from his hair (i assume) tied to the floor. They shoot straight through his face to the origin point of the grid.
also the scripts aren't working...that's a problem for another time though.
I'm currently using maya 2017. I've tested this issue with maya 2016 too and it's still there.
Any ideas on how to fix it?

While I don't know how to fix the issue, I can confirm that the Morpheus 1.0 rig works for me in Maya 2014.  If I understand correctly, Josh and the CG Monks team have been working hard on Morpheus 2.0 for a little while now, so keep an eye on their progress. smile

Hi everyone. I'm having problems with Morpheus's Tongue. I did the fix to the polyMirror Merge Threshold where you change it from 0.001 to 0.01, but half of his tongue is still a mess. Is anyone else getting this problem?

I solved it.

Select the tongue_geo, then select the tongueBridge_bsNode input. Change tongueBridge_bsGeo to 0 (from 1).

have you checked that there is no control at the bottom of it? Looks like it maybe an elongated tongue, perhaps?

So i have been on the internet for the past 3 weeks trying to figure out all the problems im having with maya that i have never had in the past 6 years of using this program. my current issue is that in Maya 2017 Morpheus Rig will not render properly or display properly.

That link is the screenshots of my issues. the FastSkin textures are pathed properly and it usually displays a redbox around it in the hyper shader but it hadn't when i took the screenshot. all i need to do is render out 29 frames for an animatic and this is one of the few things that are tripping me up. if anyone can LINK me a tutorial or thread for a fix i would be very thankful.
