shot choices are decent but you should try to apply more of the 12 principles of animation, specifically solid drawing in this case

For the contest, the animation runs too long and doesn't need to. The establishing shot is nice, but doesn't need to last as long, even if it wasn't for an 11 second contest. Also, I recommend touching up the animation on the prisoners, they look as if they're vibrating at times. Overall the design of the ship and characters is nice, and you clearly had a fun idea for this audio.
