I had a lot of fun animating this. Long planning process that fortunately ended up the way i wanted.

Hernán Bruna:

supa awesome!

Brad Regier:

i like the wildness of this character. Maybe a tad too many poses though.

Sander Kamermans:

very very good,. a bit over the top,..

Matt Kenley:

Love your style, and you really gave him a nice character.

Bill Drastal:

Acting seems very captain Kirkesque. I'd say watch your timing and maybe less key frames on some of the actions.

Fernando Herrera:

Looks great!

The only thing that doen't work for me is 130-147. This bit gets a little over acted.

Ryan Hagen:

There's a lot going on in here. I would've like to see you work inside your poses a bit more instead of going all over. Some of the mechanics could use a once over as well, but overall a good animation. Keep rockin'.

Cody Woodard:

I liked the poses except the whole thing was a bit over exaggerated, try toning it down a bit with less bend in the body to start with, still great job.

Tyler Phillips:

I don't know about the acting choices you made but the animation is really good.

Matt Garward:

Nice work overall, great work on the mouth. Your eyebrow shapes efel a bit too complicated (and the black brows kept drawing my attention)... try for some simpler lines, perhaps? The weight-shift & body reversal at 191 isn't working for me... it's a big shift and then he doesn't move much afterwards. What is his attitude saying here? That move might have worked better on "me" at the end as he kinda deflates. Really nice work!

Eric Huang:

Awesome, my only crit is that around frame 185, his fingers feels a bit rubbery.

Aaron Clement:

Wow, some really interesting moves here... Not sure if some of them fit right, though... some good moody poses coming through all the same.

evan:

well done! its almost as if you have too many poses in the begining, but it slows and contrasts, i like it alot, good stuff

Josh Doohen:

great tension..maybe just a lil too much action in the end. otherwise its right on! good job!

kienwei80:

Really like this animation. Great acting.

W Jacob Gardner:

simplify your eyebrow shapes.
and cut the number of poses in half

Gregory Naud:

Great animation! Maybe too many poses are strong so we don't really feel contrast during the animation. Some words shoudln't be that powerful like on "girl that he loves".

samy.oddjob@gmail.com:

your character move really too much, in all ways maybe you should try to refrain and not make him move on each word ...

Michael Cawood:

Really good stuff. It’s all about the arcs this piece, perhaps a little much though. I’d be tempted to say it’s a little too flourishy, but as a valid alternative to other takes on the material it works well. This is a real animators piece with very strong silhouetted poses (although not necessarily very natural poses). With a little more restraint this would be perfect.

James:

Starts off really well, but maybe too many gestures mid-way through?

Tom Cho:

Excellent!

John Erickson:

nice job with the dynamic poses and the exaggerated acting. i liked it

Stuart Livingston:

WEird pose at 132, but very well animated, more believable than most

Henry G. Sanchez:

TOOO busy

David Artura:

I think you're trying to do too much with this shot, like you're trying to hit every beat of the dialogue. A clip this short needs only a few poses. Too many and it gets too confusing and the transitions become too hurried.

Gurneet Singh Khahra:

work on poses

Ritwik Nag:

Nice!!

Dan Dulberger:

-

Emmanuel Vergne:

maybe you can get more fluidity sometimes
Nice poses and nice lipsync

Giovanni:

Movements are much too exaggerated!

Yeray Díaz Díaz:

Good job! I like your use of the spine gives a lot of contrast and interest to the character. I think he moves a tad to much and I personally don't like the move-on-every-word feel. Still a very nice piece

Felicidades! ;)

Nanda van Dijk:

great origional poses, maybe a bit over the top. maybe tweak it down just a bit. but never the less great acting

Markus Geerts:

Nice work! The lip-sync is great! The hand- and arm-poses: a little less could be more...
