Hernán Bruna:

It is cool, great compose and animation I think, but the idea its is boring

Paul Davis:

Verry Nice. Fluid, passive motions, lipsyncing was dead on. Love the detail of him being in a subway.

Chris Bull:

Nice idea, thought you could've made more of it though, having him keeping balance on the train holding onto the pole more, and probably not talking to the camera.

Brad Regier:

i like the train motion, and his reaction to his environment

Matt Kenley:

great movements, love the last pose. One thing I: if your going to make such a nice environment, use it more, have the character interact with it to give it some more uniqueness. Good stuff

Joseph K. Garrahan:

cool. a bit overacting sometimes.

Jesse Baumgartner:

Pretty nice. Only thing that really bothers me is the angle of the arm and hand after he says "then maybe...you know...". The elbow seems to be pointing in a weird direction.

David Bokser:

the poses seem like they're detached from the sound slip. They hit around 10 frames too late, but the motion is very polished.

John Erickson:

I really like the hand staggering with Ch-Change for me. He is a bit late on 'some way' with his hand pose. 'That whole part of 'Help him in some way' seems a bit off with the timing. Ya know' seems a bit late with the pose as well.

Josh Doohen:

i like the poses. seems as though the movement is behind a little. otherwise looks great!

Carol:

The movement in the first half seems like it's a bit behind. You did a good job focusing on follow-through, but it feels like too much sometimes, there's a lot of movement in the body that distracts from the emotion in the face.

Pete Y:

hitting acting beats akwardly
dont have to pose what he is saying

Ryan Magill:

I really like the up/down movement it really feels like hes riding the subway.

Eric Huang:

nice job :), some of the poses could use some work though ~199 and ~219

Ann-Marie Denham:

You've handled the stutter very well. At least half of the entries haven't utilised that.

Alonso Soriano:

hands are disconnected from the thoughts, he's not thinking with his hands, his hands are thinking of their own things.

Jordi:

is he lost in london?

Jonathan Paquin:

Nice but all your actions seem a bit late, like they're always behind the actual words...

David Artura:

Not too bad overall, but the lip sync is off on quite a few places.

I think you're trying to do too much with this shot, like you're trying to hit every beat of the dialogue. A clip this short needs only a few poses. Too many and it gets too confusing and the transitions become too hurried.

Damian Isherwood:

Needs more attention to getting lip sync synced..Also some hand getures aren't necescary.. pull it back a bit.

Mariya Kalachova:

It's a pity the synch on the audio is off.. I was having the same problem.. but outside of that the animation looks really good.

Aaron Clement:

The ending was good. A lot of the actions felt cliche, though... Timing was good.

Sander Kamermans:

nice animation but the background is a bit distracting,.

Victor Wong:

Something needs to be done to establish the distance of the pole from the subway bulkhead, otherwise the character looks like it will have a volume problem.

Markus Geerts:

Really nice. I would try to offset the sound 1 or 2 frames, it feels a bit too early...

Dan Dulberger:

You got some cool moves at the end I haven't seen anyone else do. They are fun to watch. Don't quite fancy the "girl that he loves" pose though. Pretty good animation overall. More contrast would've helped.

Mike Courtney:

lip sync needs work

Eric Scheur:

Very nice work!

You have really appealing movement here. I feel, though, that the acting could be reigned in a little bit more. There are a lot of poses here, and I think that you could hold some poses longer instead of changing to new ones so often.

Also, it felt like the pose around 159 ("girl that he loves") might be a bit too illustrative of "love"... That is, it looks like the pose is illustrating the word instead of what this character is actually feeling.

A lot of this is just focusing more on the acting choices. The movement is very very nice, and I definitely look forward to seeing your work in future competitions. :)

jesus gomez diaz:

francis leong:

Staging not good, the movement of the train passing thru' tunnel is kind of distracting. Overall, nice effect.
